A/n: hello my fellow readers here is the next chapter to this story, sorry for not updating this in a while, but my animetube won't load any episodes of the chimera ant arc episodes. so it's going to be hard for me to find the right episodes and that this chapter may be short cause the episodes center around more on Gon and Killua. but that's enough out of me let the chapter begin!
Y/n's pov
it was just another day in the compound of the Chimera ant forte, I've mainly been in the library of the forte and haven't been bothered by any other Ants. every now and then I would be visited by Peggy, who I have grown to be good friends out of the Ants he told me that some of the squadrons of the Ants were ending up missing. like first the leader would vanish then the rest one by one, he asked me if I knew anything about it and to be honest I have no clue what could have happen to those squadrons. another Ant that visits me is Shaiapouf though he mainly makes sure that I don't cause any trouble, but he does keep me company since I'm considered Pitou's "prize."
but right now I'm doing practice swings with my sword to make sure that I don't lose my strength, I would want to practice my Nen abilities but that could cause some trouble for me and I heard someone else enter the room.

I quickly turn to face who ever it was with my sword raised, but once I got a good look it was a female Chimera Ant. she had light purple skin with a large scorpion like tail with a stinger attatched to her upper waist.

female Ant: cute, but aren't you afraid of seeing my?
Y/n: no. just more intrigue rather than scared or afraid.
the female ant then walks around me looking at my body closely, as if she was sizing me up for something.
female Ant: hmm, you appear to be more stronger than the last rare... no, not rare. I would say exotic would be a better word for it.
Y/n: exotic? what do you mean?
female Ant: your life energy is much larger than anything I've seen so far. I could just take you for myself.~
she was inching towards me with a look that could mean that she intends to do something more, dangerous for me.

we turn towards the sudden voice that came into the room, but luckily for me it was Pitou who entered, but she was giving off an intimidating aura that was directed more so towards the female Ant that was trying to get close to me.
Y/n: [huh. wonder why Pitou is directing that type of aura towards the female Ant?]
Pitou: Zazan should you be organizing your troops and strengthen our defenses like the other squadron leaders?
