Chapter 8: the birth of a royal guard

3rd pov

as the four hunters look at the sight of the cliff sides that had lights within them as Kite and Y/n knows what that means while Gon and Killua were curious

Gon: is this the place where the Chimera ants nest?

Kite: no it's not they don't normally dig holes like this they build their nest with mud and droppings 

Y/n: *steps forward* lets go we'll see when we're inside

as they entered one of the openings to enter the as they see a bunch of small lights lighting up the path way as Kite and Y/n take the lead with Gon and Killua behind them looking around

Kite: now we don't know when they'll strike so don't let your guard down

Killua: yeah you don't have to worry we understand the other Chimaera ant completely concealed his presence 

Gon: *nods his head*

as they continue on walking ahead they see a light at the end of the path meaning they are about to enter another room 

Y/n: keep moving

once they entered the room they see some machinery, shelves and crates along with some blood on the machinery meaning signs of a slaughter as well with some dameagew of other machinery and guns laying on the ground with some blood on them 

Gon: wait a minute? is this...

Kite: yes this is the dark underbelly of the NGL.

Killua: it's a drug factory

Y/n: exactly right the pills called D.D and is massed produced right here the hottest new drug on the main land. it's made from Bira trees there must be a field close by ironic given to their status conversationalist right

Killua: their making more than just drugs *pulls out a gun from a open crate* look their the same ones from earlier *drops the gun back into the crate*

Kite: if I had to hazard a guess. I'd say that only the leaders of the NGL know the truth the other community members probably genially identify with the environmental message

Killua: this facility...it's the core of the NGL underground isn't so if there isn't anybody else in here then....

Y/n: that would suggest the Chimera ants have completely wiped out the underground and a bunch of armatures with guns didn't stand a chance against them

Gon: but what about their boss?

Y/n: *shrugs will motioning his arms* he either escaped or was eaten either way it is bad news

Gon: huh wait what do you mean?

Kite: shh there's still a few here

this caused Gon and Killua tensed up when hearing that while Y/n stayed calm with his hand gripping his sword ready for any Chimera ants to pop out from the shadows 

Kite: their slowly approaching through the middle tunnel

then the four hunters walked towards the middle tunnel then stopped once seeing three branching path ways leading to other parts of the NGL drugs and weapon factory
