Chapter 14: the hunter's move

3rd pov

As Netero was on the phone, while the two hunters and Colt is in the room with him as they hear Netero's side of the conversation.

Netero: It's me. I want to send over the Chimera Ant research team immediately.  Yes. The King has been born. Contact Dr. Lee of the Fanlin Medical College. Have her assemble a team of the best surgeons and artificial organ engineering specialists she can find. Hmm. *ends the call* Be ready to leave here in four hours.

white haired man/business suit man: Yes, sir.

Netero then uses a small blade to cut off some strands of his tied hair, which seemed to catch the attention of both Hunters.

Netero: We will do absolutely everything in our power. And, Colt...

Colt emerges from the shadows next to the case that hold books and other documents, then he looks at Netero.

Netero: We're going to need your help to accomplish this.

Colt: *nods*

As the Hunters gather everything they need in four hours, while Netero puts on shorts and a t-shirt that says Heart. Netero sighs as he looks down at his clothes with a somber look.

Netero: This might just be the last time I wear this.

white haired man: Hey, so is that...

business suit man: It is. His "Heart" T-shirt. They say it's a lucky outfit that he only wears when he fights for real. I though it was just a rumor.

Netero: *begins to channel his Nen* Now then, Colt, it appears that you can use Nen. Since you've been in the presence of the new king once before. Your opinion on this matter would be rather helpful. So be honest. How do I compare to the King?

As the two Hunters feel the pressure of Nen that Netero is letting out, Colt however is rather stoic and doesn't seem to be affected by the old man's Nen aura.

Colt: I doubt... that you'll be able to lay a finger on him.

hunters: Huh?

Colt: You'll be killed by one of his Royal Guards, before you can even get close.

The two Hunters would feel offended by Colt's words, but Netero laughs and gains the two hunter's attention.

Netero: I see. That's good to hear. I've found a challenger at my age. This is thrilling, quite thrilling.

A/n: Why do I have a feeling that a certain Skywing Queen would like to know Netero's location.

Colt: But there is something you should know. One of the King's Royal Guards as taken one of your people as her prize.

Netero: Hmm?

white haired man: Say what now?

business suit man: A prize?

Netero: *mutters* Could it be... *to Colt* Can you describe this person, by any chance.

Colt: Yes. It was a man younger than you with h/c hair and wields a sword that is wrapped in bandages, but it for some reason that when I tried to pick up the blade I couldn't even lift it. The best I could do was drag it back.

white haired man: Wait, a sword wrapped in bandages?

business suit man: That sounds like...

Netero: Y/n, so he is still alive and is with the King. Wonderful!
