A/n: Hello my fellow readers! Here is the next chapter to this story, now without any further interruptions let the chapter begin!
3rd pov
As the Chimera Ants that have left the original hive, started to make themselves known all over the world. Zazan's hive had invaded the home of the Phantom Troupe, only to be wiped out by the group of Troupe and saving their home city, while with Y/n he and the kid has been provided well under the King's orders. Right now Y/n is in the kitchen prepping a meal for the kid and him, as he was finishing up the meal Y/n hears the door opening up, which Y/n and the kid turn to see Pitou walking in to see Y/n cooking.
Pitou: my, that smells inviting.
Y/n: Heya Pitou, Need something?
Pitou: Just coming to check up on you two, though the smell of your cooking caught me off guard.
kid: Y/n is making us some food!
Y/n: *nervous smile* Though I think, that I might have made a little too much.
Pitou: Well, if that's the case, I don't mind joining.
Y/n: Please do.
Pitou then takes the seat next to the kid, which the said kid lends into Pitou as the said Royal guard ant rubs the kid's head. Then Y/n got three plates for them and started to give them the portions and sat next to the kid, as Y/n, Pitou and the kid started to eat once Pitou took a bite her eyes widen in surprise, as she was hit with a flurry of flavors. Y/n saw Pitou's reaction chuckles lightly and started to eat more, the kid was already enjoying his meal and seeing these two enjoying the meal that Y/n made puts a smile on his face.
Y/n then eats his food, if anyone else would see the three of them would make look like a little family. As the three of them has finished their meal, Y/n and Pitou took the empty plates to wash with the kid wanting to help, but that was until a certain muscle head Ant comes into the room and looks towards Y/n.
Youpi: Hey, Y/n. The King wants to see you.
Y/n: Me?
Pitou: Is it serious?
Youpi: No, just the King needs a sparring partner and wants to measure Y/n's strength for himself.
Y/n: I see, does this have something to do with the recent added ants and some Squadron leaders being joined here?
Youpi: Doubt it, besides a certain three are the ones to keep an eye on.
Pitou: Oh those three, even if they did "pledge" their loyalty to the King. We know that they have thought of trying to overthrow him.
Y/n: Good luck with that, sure their Squadron leaders but just by the King's Nen he leagues above them. Anyways, I better not keep the King waiting.
With that Y/n leaves the room and heads to meet the king, while Pitou and the kid wash their dishes and youpi leaves to do his rounds. As Y/n was nearing the room that the King is in, he can spot and pass by some of the grunt ants, the only reason as they don't try and attack him and the kid is due to Pitou and direct orders of the King.
Once Y/n entered the room only to see the King sitting on the throne, as the said Chimera Ant sees the Human walk in which the King gains a small smile.
King: Good to see you made it.
Y/n: Of course, it wouldn't be wise to not keep you waiting. Since you're kind enough to keep the grunts and Squadron leaders in line. So what did you wanted to see me?
King: I am in need of a sparring partner, As I'm sure the group of Humans that you are a part of will be going to attack me very soon.
Y/n: I see... But why me?
King: *smirks* Don't be so coy, Ever since I was first born I could feel immense power coming from you.
Y/n: {Had a feeling he would notice, guess me playing it safe won't do.} So you noticed, guess I can't say no for a little sparring.
As those words came out of Y/n's mouth the King stands from his throne and Y/n summons his clothed covered sword on his back and enters his stance, the two stood their ground for a moment then disappeared from where they were standing. Only to reappear exchanging blows the King then delivers a punch at Y/n, but the said Human blocks the punch and sends the King back with a spinning kick, the King recovered from being kicked and blocks a punch from Y/n which the two looked at one another.
King: Your good, but why still hold back?
Y/n: Well first you never said how much to use, and two you are very much holding back as well.
King: *smirks* clever.
The two separate and Y/n closes his to reveal his f/c flame over his left eye and once the f/c colored flame appeared, what also follows is that multiple f/c swords made out of pure Nen stabbed into the ground around the Human and ant. Which gotten the King interested of the many Nen made swords, which his mind crossed that Y/n might use his sword.
King: Interesting, planning on using these swords?
Y/n: No, just evening the playing field. *draws his clothed covered sword* Since I have my sword, it would be a bit unfair to fight spar someone who doesn't have a weapon.
King: *smirks* So that's how it is.... *picks up one of the Nen made swords* Let's hope that confidence doesn't fail you.
Both the Ant and Human point their respective weapons at their opponents, then the two quickly rushed the other and clashed their blades into the other. This ends up into a blade lock with both fighters begin to try and overpower the other, the two then let out loud and the room gets flooded by a bright light.
Pitou's pov
As the dishes were finished me and the kid, were on the roof of the building over looking the area incase if the Hunters attack. While the kid is with me clinging onto my waist as to not fall, but that won't happen cause I'll catch him with little to no issue. Though now that I recall, I don't think me nor Y/n has even asked on the kid's name up till now.
Pitou: Hey, I have been meaning to ask... do you have a name?
The kid looks at me with a curious look on his face, which then changes to a warm smile and rests his head on my lap while I pet his head.
kid: Happy....
Pitou: Meow?
kid Happy, my name is Happy. You asked.
Pitou: Happy huh.....
Pitou: That's a nice name.
