I pick myself up off the kitchen floor once Brady leaves. At this point I'm numb to the beatings, but its the other part that hurts the most. Even though he never does it when mom's home he definitely takes advantage of the times when she's gone. Today was no different.
As I limp into the bathroom I catch a glimpse of myself in the full body mirror. Ugggh. I hated seeing myself like this. There were deep purple bruises already forming all over my body and I can see the beginnings of a black eye and scratches on my face. But the worst part was the blood. I never understood why every time he did it I would bleed so much. But there's not much I can do about it now. I jump in the shower and let the hot water run over my body and suck my muscles. I gently scrub my legs and body to get all the blood and dirt off. By the time I'm done showering, I am exhausted from breathing which makes me suspect I have broken ribs.
I rush to get dressed seeing that it's already 7:30 and school starts at 8. We live 10 minutes from my school so that only leave me 20 minutes to get dressed and cover all my bruises. Thankfully I didn't wash my hair today otherwise I would've skipped school, because that is a whole ass routine that takes fucking forever. I managed to make it to school on time but I didn't have time to conceal the bruises on my face. I rushed into the handicap bathroom since it's the only one with a lock.

I hear a series of knocks on the door a couple of minutes later. "bitch it's us" " hurry I don't want anyone to see me" I say as I rushed them inside the bathroom. " shit it looks worse in person" Xanny says and she gently touches my face. " yea imagine how the rest of me feels." I say as Ryan starts to apply the concealer to my face. " I also have Setting powder and setting spray so that way this shit does not come off at all" Ry says as she continues to hide the evidence of last night's events. * Time Jump* As I sit in AP Physics taking notes I hear the PA system turn on. " Will Miss Samira Lucchesi report to principal Harrison's office please. Samira Lucchesi to principal Harrison's office." I put all my things into my bag and walk to the office. " What's up H- dog" I say as I sit down in front of Mr.Harrison. " it's Mr.Harrison to Miss Lucchesi, and I'm afraid I have so unfortunate news to tell you. It appears that your mother and stepfather were in a car crash and have passed away." He said matter of factly. I stare into space for about five seconds before I finally speak, " Welp, this was an unexpected turn of events. Sooooooo if they're dead then where do I go." " Well Bambina you're coming to live with brothers in New York." A voice said from behind me.
I turn around and come face to face with my Oldest brother Cristiano. He has to be at least 6'5 with a full beard ( let's give it up for beards that connect). He looks at with glossy eyes and a small smile on his face.
" CiCi" I say as tears fall down my face. I run into his arms. He lifts me up off the ground and spins me around. We stand there for awhile before we separate. " I never thought I'd see you again. mom told me that you guys forgot about me. " " We could never forget about you. We've been looking for the past 13 years." " I've missed you so much." " I've missed you too bambina." After we chop it up for a few minutes CiCi tells me that we're flying back to NY at 6. We decided that we go to my house so I can pack up my stuff and then get some food before we leave. I text the girls and let them know what's happening.

He tells me that I'm going to be living with them in New York since my parents are dead 😊 At this point I'm not even mad that my parents are that I never was I'm just happy to be back with my brothers you know. The only downside to this whole scenario is that I'll be leaving you guys 😢😢
