Chapter VII: Wise King of the Forest

Momon, Vader, and Nabe reached the edge of the forest, rendezvous with the rest of the group. The group named Sword of Darkness realizes their arrival, turned their attention to the arriving three.

"Glad you can make it." Said Peter.

"Sorry, we made you wait," Momon replied.

Their attention shifted back to Nphirea, as Nphirea began to speak once the attention is back to him.

"We're about to enter the forest, please guard me well." Said Nphirea.

"We'll be fine since we got Mr. Momon and Mr. Vader with us." Said Peter smiling.

Nphirea turned his gaze towards Momon, with a hint of a worried look on his face.

"Um, Mr. Momon. Should you encounter the Wise King, please don't kill him." Said Nphirea.

"Why is that, Mr. Nphirea?" Asked Momon.

"The reason why no monsters attack the village is that this forest is the territory of the Wise King. If the Wise King died, then..." But before Nphirea could continue, Lukrut cut him off.

"That's impossible. Even for a powerful people like Mr. Momon and Mr. Vader." Said Lukrut.

"Don't worry, Mr. Nphirea. We understand, we'll try not to kill the Wise King." Said Vader confidently.

"Huh?! The opponent is a magical creature that has lived for hundreds of years!" Said Lukrut shocked.

"Only the strong are allowed an attitude like that." Said Dyne.

"In return, we have a suggestion to make." Said Momon.

"Feel free, Mr. Momon." Said Nphirea.

"Nabe can use magic similar as Alarm and I'd like the three of us to survey the area around us." Said Momon.

Nphirea took a deep sigh.

"Very well, I don't mind. But please, don't separate too far and be careful." Said Nphirea.

Not long after that, the three of them found themselves amidst the sea of trees of the Great Forest of Tob. The trees are large, old, and is a witness of the world long before the inhabitants of this world could know. The trees from Zyrax's and Ainz's world are rare, so they found themselves in a pleasant mood just walking around the forest.

They stopped on a small clearing, the clearing is sufficient enough for them to survey the area. But of course, that wasn't their intention.

"Now, let's talk about how to spread our great name." Said Ainz loudly.

"Yes! That's why I'm here!"

A shout was heard, the mysterious shout alerted Nabe. Only to found the adorable Aura kneeling on a branch of a tree, waving at them.

"Lady Aura! Please, stop scaring me like that!" Said Narberal.

"Sorry!" Aura replied.

"How long have you been here?" Asked Narberal.

"Ever since we entered the forest, Nabe. I sensed her presence then, it is a good thing I didn't resolve to kill her out of surprise." Said Zyrax.

"As expected of Lord Zyrax. Indeed, I entered the vicinity after all of you." Said Aura in response.

"I didn't notice at all." Said Narberal with surprise.

"Which is why she is perfect for the job I gave her, you do remember the job, Aura?" Asked Ainz.

"Yes, Lord Ainz. I am to find the Wise King of the Forest and sent him to you, right?" Said Aura.

"That's right. Can you do it?" Asked Ainz.
