After heading onto the path that would take us to Mondstadt for a bit, a large shadow flew above us. A blue and white dragon soared in the skies above us, roaring. "Wow! What is that!? There's something huge, in the sky!" Paimon yelled, astonished. "It's headed towards the heart of the forest, we must proceed with caution." She added, still a little shook up,  just as the last of the dragon disappeared into the forest.

We entered the shady clump of trees, looking around for the mysterious dragon when Paimon spoke. "Huh? Look at that!" Paimon said, pointing to the area in front of us. A low growl was heard heard as I peeked behind a large tree trunk.

The low growling continued to be heard as a boy with indigo-cyan braids and green clothing held his hands out to the dragon. I noticed that there was an odd bluish mist emitting from the dragon's sleek dark blue eyes. "Don't be afraid... It's alright now, I'm back." The boy continued to comfort the dragon as though they were old friends.

'He looks a bit like the woman on the Statue of the Seven... Wait, does that mean that she was a he? Wait, I don't even know if he's the same person on the statue!'  I rambled mentally. Of course he wasn't that person, right?

"Is he...talking to a dragon? Paimon whispered incredulously. The decoration on the middle of my outfit started to pulsate until it shined cyan.
Almost immediately the dragon roared loudly and swiped the boy aside. The boy seemed to have saw us, as he yelled "Who's there?"

We stayed silent as the dragon let out it's loudest roar yet. The boy was bathed in the now-familiar cyan glow and disappeared in thin air. It was really windy as the dragon roared in our direction before soaring back up into the sky.

"That was close! Paimon almost got blown away! Luckily Paimon was able to grab hold of your hair! Thanks." Paimon said. "Good thing the dragon didn't notice us for the most part" I replied. "Just what was that? Paimon thought we were going to get eaten." Paimon shuddered at the thought. "It definitely has something to do with that weirdo  talking with the dragon..." She trailed off. "Is talking to dragons normal?" I questioned, even though I knew it wasn't. "Of course not!" Paimon huffed before she noticed something odd about the environment.

"Oh? What's that? There's some kind of shiny red thingy on the big rock over there..." I looked to the side to find that there was a indeed a red floating thing in the rock nearby. "Let's go take a closer look!"

Paimon warned me to be cautious as we approached the shiny red crystal. I picked it up from the air and Paimon spoke once more. "Paimon's never seen a stone like this before, so Paimon can't tell what it is. All Paimon knows is that its dangerous. Best we put it away for now." I reached out to the odd crystal and stored it in one of my pockets. "Okay, we've got it! Now let's get out of here." Paimon floated out of the forest into the sunlight as I followed her once more.
