Tuff and I were walking around looking for people to Loki when N/n ran past
"N/n?"
"Y/n?"
They continue running
"Should we?"
"Duh"
We ran after them catching up as I grab their sleeve
"N/n? What happened"
I ask them, noticing their tears, Tuff noticing as well
"Yeah you ignored us so somethings wrong"
"T-they didn't..." they trail off as more tears spilt
Their parents.... I looked at Tuff, he knew as well we both quickly hug them
"It'll be okay..." we say calming them slightly
"What happened?" Astrid ran over
Damn N/n ran pretty far, this is where Astrid usually dissappears to train
"Their parents didn't make it" Tuff says slowly not wanting to upset them any more
"Oh... hey Y/n? We're here for you... everythings gonna be okay...."
"Thanks guys" they mumble, wiping their eyes

Hiccup and Astrid were the only two left in the ring, as the final battle before the choosing
Hiccup took the gronkle down with the scratch tactic again, annoying Astrid
"NO! NO! SON OF HALF TROLL, RAT EATING MUNGE BUCKET!"
"Wait! Wait"
"So... later"
"Not so fast!"
"I'm kinda late for-"
"What?! Late for what, exactly?!"
"Okay, quiet down. The Elder has decided."
Gobber lifts his hook over Astrids head getting a no from Gothi, he does the same for Hiccup getting a yes
"You've done it! You've done it, Hiccup! You get to kill the dragon!"
"That's my boy!"
"Heh. Oh, yeah! Yes! I can't wait. I am so..."

"Leaving! We're leaving. Let's pack up. Looks like you and me are taking a little vacation, forever."

A sickening crack echos out as Astrid bends his arm all the way back
