Eric was looking for a couple of minutes for Cami to irritate her. He wanted to see her pissed facial expressions. So, when he found her in the not so crowded corridor, he waited until many students were gathering altogether either standing there or just passing by.

He decided to hide behind them and while she was walking by without paying any attention to her surroundings, he internally smirked due to her carelessness and then Eric jumped in front of her yelling at her and using his index finger pointed at her," Oi.....Ugly Cami!".

All the other students quickly turned their heads towards her, looked at Cami simultaneously, and started laughing uncontrollably at her. For a minute she was just startled, rooted at her place looking at nowhere, she was fuming internally because of the humiliation she felt.

Cami, being with Becca, who didn’t react at anything at all, recollected herself on her own and glared at Eric hard, saying to him, "Oi...look monkey."

Listening to this ridiculous comment, his victorious smirk got wiped off of his face, he pulled her braid hardly and ran away from her hastily.

"Ahhh!" screamed Cami with blurred vision because of the pain and the humiliation, which Eric unrightfully imposed on her, but she was determined she will not let him get away with these stupid and childish actions.

So Cami ran after him as she wanted badly to teach him a good lesson and due to her inability of catching him, she instantly took out one of her shoes and threw it directly at him.

Eric simply caught her shoe and again ran away from her, playing with her shoe. She cursed under her nose silently, because he didn’t stop at all. She has almost forgotten about Becca who was just standing there, and Cami looked at her for a second blinking her, like she was trying to tell her to try something for helping her, and Becca just gave her a sympathetic look. This little reaction of silent Becca was enough for Cami to regain her strength to keep up with Eric speeding up.

While Cami running after him, without Becca beside her, she yelled at him furiously "My shoe, my shoe....give me back my shoe. Eric!"

Soon Cami entered a dark room with unsteady breathing, following Eric. She tried to pay attention to her surroundings, so she cautiously observed the room, and after that Cami looked at him straight in his eyes with a stern expression, "Eric, we are not allowed to enter this room."

Eric, without paying any attention to her words, kept playing with her little shoe and simply smirked at her,  "First, say I'm handsome."

Cami looked at him, raising her eyebrows and scrunching her nose like she smelt something awful "Ewww... you are not."

Eric instantly looked at her with a wide-eyed expression.

"Fine, you won't get your shoe,"

He wanted her to call him. He needed to hear that from her, but he got nothing.

Cami didn’t get his reaction because she was a little preoccupied with trying to snatch her show from him, saying to him "Eric... I'm telling you..." but soon they heard a sudden loud bang on the door, realizing that they got locked in the darkroom, where they weren’t supposed to be in. They both bang on the door fiercely. But no one was outside to hear them yelling and banging unstoppably.

"It's your mistake." cried Cami with blurred, red eyes.
"No, it’s yours. You called me monkey before." Eric startled at her frightened expression with irritation because she put all the blame on him. If she had stopped chasing him or calling him a monkey, they wouldn’t have ended up in this dark room locked up.

Cami yanked her shoe from his hand, and messaged to her friend, Becca, waiting impatiently for her answer to come and take her out of this awful room. Due to class, they have to stay eventually there for a whole period without talking to each other for most of the time.
