Chapter-23 Hate

"Heavy hearts, like heavy clouds in the dark, shady sky, are best relieved by the letting of a little water, by releasing many tears, and by facing rejection. Are these really a remedy to a revengeful rejection?"

Gabi was sitting in front of the doctor with her parents. Robert asked her anxiously and in a judgmental way "Gabi, why did you stop taking your medicines? " Gabi didn't speak, she really doesn't want to be here. Her hands started shaking. 

Isabella held her trembling hands to simply comfort her. She nodded at Gabi, assuring her that she is here only for her. She felt awful towards Gabi because she chooses to be out of Gabi’s life on purpose and she wasn’t there for her daughter.

After a couple of moments, Gabi stated honestly "Because I feel like I'm not being myself. It's like I'm living in someone else’s body and having someone else’s life who desperately needs this constant attention of everyone around her. I can't act out, as I want to. And these pills make me tired every moment. I felt like, now I'm Ok. I can survive without them." The doctor nodded his head  and asked "Do you think you can survive without them?" Gabi negatively shook her head.

"Why?"

Gabi looked at her parents, saying "Because I hurt my parents with my stupid behavior. I put Cami's life in danger while driving. She was asking me to slow down, but I didn't. She must be so angry at me."

The doctor commented honestly "Looks like you know, what you did, was wrong. Plus, you are feeling guilty for that.". Gabi gently nodded her head.

Doctor, gently, smiled at her "Gabi, we all have mood swings. But people with Bipolar personalities they felt everything to an extreme degree and they spontaneously react extremely. While taking these medicines, you can still get hurt and snap-on them at any time. You don't have to please anyone. These medicines help you to keep your reactions in control and control your fierce mood swings. There’re for your benefit only"

After this comment, the doctor kindly asked Gabi to wait outside.  

"Your daughter knows, what she did, was wrong. She just needs to understand that she can't keep everyone happy or satisfied. By the way, who is Cami?"
Robert immediately answered "Half-sister".

The doctor continued saying "Ok, well, I would say that she is feeling embarrassed for putting her sister's life in danger. Your daughter thinks that she is not allowed to make any mistakes. Make her understand that she is a human. She is allowed to make mistakes, that's part of human nature. Gabi is being too hard on herself. I can't force her to take medicines. But only you, guys, can make her understand that taking medicines doesn't mean that something is wrong with her. Help her properly and encourage her to be more natural. " At the end of this, Robert and Isabella nodded their head simultaneously.

Cami came downstairs and saw Marina talking to Isabella on the phone. She immediately asked, "When will Mummy come?"

Marina turned around and stated sorrowfully "Tomorrow. She will come back. Gabi needs her today.".

Cami internally thought that she also wants to say that she also needs her. Somewhere in her heart, she felt bad for Gabi for taking her mother away.

Her granny asked her, being anxious "How are you?"
She felt guilty for the misbehavior and hurtful comments of her daughter. Cami looked at Marina and wanted to scream that she is not at all Ok, but she simply nodded her head.

Her grandmother said, "Cami, I love you.". Cami heard this and nodded her head and went back to her bedroom, to her place, where she felt herself and not being unwanted and judged.
