By IoannaTzelepiCami was in the washroom, silently clutching her stomach. She still couldn't believe that the woman, who died, was Eric's mother. It's like everything is turning against her. She doesn't know how to face him. She felt extremely sorry for him. His mother died because of her father, she felt responsible for that. Deep down she knew that she couldn’t control her father’s actions, but somewhere in her heart, she couldn't curse Vincent. She wanted to, but couldn't utter a swear. All the disgusting looks made her feel humiliated and alone. Nobody stood up for her.
She heard some girls, entering the washroom, "Poor Eric, has to see that Dami every day, it's like seeing your mother's killer every single day and you can't do anything." Cami closed her eyes and started crying silently.
They kept commenting without realizing that anybody who could enter would hear them out and they didn’t even care if someone gets in.
One of them stated, "I feel bad for him.". The other one with high pitched voice mentioned, "This, ugly Dami, has disturbed the peace of others. Her father destroyed Eric and then Gabi. If she wouldn't have born, Gabi's parents would not have separated and they would have been happy.".
The one with the thick accent mentioned "Just like her father, she is destroying everyone's life."
The girl with high pitched voice venomously said "If she dies, everyone's life will get sorted."
The other girl continued "Eric is right, she should suffer. She should pay for her father's sin."
The girl with a thick accent "I'm sure her father is in hell. She would also go in hell, for being the daughter of that monster."
All this time Cami was completely still and was silently listening to how they all wanted her dead, to how all preferred that she needed to pay for the sins, which she never committed. These girls don’t even know her. They are not in her class also. But they were wishing for her to suffer. Placing a hand on her face, she choked on her sobs. She doesn't know how to make them understand and not hate her. She is not a bad person or a criminal. She is sorry for what her father did.
Wiping tears, she checked the time and noticed school is about to get over. She waited for her mother. Unfortunately, Cami knew her mummy is not going to pick her up. But her heart is not ready to accept that her mother might hate her. She is ready to live in illusion.
She texted her mother so that she can't blame her mother afterward, stating "Mummy, you do know I'm a big girl. Don't come to pick me up. Please, I'll go on my own. All my friends go back to their places by themselves. I don't want anyone to make fun of me like this. OK, Bye mummy, Love you so much!"
She texted her mother, but somewhere in her heart, she wanted her mother to call her back saying 'Not to go alone Cami. Stay there, I'm coming. Mummy loves you.'
She waited for a minute, waiting for the reply. The Bluetick shows her mother read the message. Reluctantly, she kept her phone inside her bag and started walking towards her home.

She reached home and saw her mother, drinking and bickering with Marina.
Isabella whined "Mom, it’s just a few drinks. Plus, Cami is a big girl. She said she didn't want me to pick her up from school."
Isabella’s mother stated "You knew why she texted that. You are fucking hurting her. Can't you see that?"
She moved her hands angrily. Isabella didn’t pay attention to this movement, saying "I said I need a time.".
