Sakura's type

Hii, Thank you for reading my story! Right now the time setting is in the ORIGINAL Naruto shonen jump, then slowly as the story goes, I'll change the time setting to Shippuden <3

"Why out of all the students you choose a complete idiot" You turning your chair away from your desk to look at Father, "Naruto went through alot y/n, yet he still keeps a smile on and still has determination, he doesn't even have any friends at school" Iruka said to you, but he's never talked to you all sad- yet happy tone. I guess there was more to him than just being an idiot.

It was about 8:30 (P.M), you were in a messy bun with Pj's, along with being on  your laptop in the desk of your bedroom. You heard Father say "Y/n come down",  you closed the lid of your laptop and headed downstairs to see Iruka and Naruto,
Iruka turned towards you,

"It's kind of last minute but I have a couple of things to run at the school really quick, You and Naruto are gonna be alone together, just for an hour, okay?" Iruka said, "Wait dad-"
"Bye" He said shutting the front door,

"Sooo uh, what do you wanna do?" you said awkwardly to Naruto, "Well I don't know, I've never really, had a sleepover,"He said with an awkward laugh at the end,
"I think we have a horror movie rented if you wanna watch that" You suggested,
"Sure I guess"he said slicking his hands through his hair,

you both sat on the couch, you grabbed the remote and turned on the movie.
You two were quiet for the first 45 minutes,and everything was going pretty smoothly, till the jumpscare came, you screamed, Your hands grabbed onto Naruto's chest without knowing,

as you were practically squeezing the poor boy's shirt, he looked at you all confused, Naruto never had much affection growing up, so he didn't know what to do. You realized you were tugging onto the middle of Naruto's shirt, You looked up at him, next thing you know you felt Naruto's arm behind you,"S-sorry is this how-" Naruto was interrupted by you, "Does everyone ever hug you..?" You asked him, he pulled you away looking down at his shoes, so you assumed that was a no.

You and Naruto were still close to each other till Iruka finally entered the house, his hands were filled with papers, You and Naruto quickly put some distance in the middle of you guys so Iruka didn't assume any false information about you two. 
"You guys shouldn't be up at this time," Father said, "Naruto you can sleep in the room next to y/n's-" He turned to Naruto and saw him looking down, him running his hands through his hair, "Is everything okay?" Iruka asked,
Naruto was able to fake a smile, "Yeah,thanks for letting me stay here sensei" He said heading to the room next to yours, Father looked at you as a signal of asking you what happened, you shrugged your shoulders.

About 4 hours later, it was 3 AM, you just couldn't sleep, Naruto opened your door, you were surprised you weren't the only one up around this time.

"You cant sleep either,huh?" You said to him from your bed rubbing your eyes,
"Yeah" he said yawning,
"Naruto..?" You asked him a bit shyly,
"Hm?" He hummed, coming to sit on your bed,

"Did I offend you..When I asked you if anyone hugs you?" You said in a quiet and shy tone,
"What?N-No you didn't! It's just a little complicated-" Naruto said in the best way he could,  "I-uh- I don't exactly have a family" He said sitting at the edge of your bed rubbing his head, your face rose in shock, you were speechless, had no clue what to say

"No, no, I don't want you to pity me just because I told you that, I'm like everyone else if not better!" He said, You still didn't know what to say,

"Anyway," Naruto said changing the subject, "You still have to do the task I gave you yesterday" He said smirking, "Which is?" you asked, "You seriously don't remember! I told you to talk to Sakura for me!" He said crossing his arms, you rolled your eyes being reminded of her,
"She thinks I'm trying to make a move on this emo dude she likes" You said, "Your really bad at names, you know that" Naruto giggled,
"Your really bad at talking to your crush, you know that?" You said teasingly,

"But seriously, what's so good about Sasuke anyways?! ALL of the girls in our school like him, what's so special about HIM? 'Ooh I'm Mr.Never smiled in his lifetime'
He always acts as if hes better then everybody-" Naruto mocked Sasuke till you interrupted his sentence while you giggled,

"Hey! You're doing it again" He said frowning, crossing his arms, "pfft, I'm not doing anything" You said trying to close your mouth to contain your laugh,  "You were just smiling a second ago! C'mon you don't like him too do you?" Naruto said groaning in disappointment at the last part,

"Ew-uh no its not like that" You answered, "Its just, your better then him anyways, why try to compete with him?" you added, You could see Naruto's cheeks turn red, his eyes were filled with delight yet embarrassment.

Naruto yawned, "You seem tired," You patted Naruto on the shoulder,
"I am a tiny bit, but I can stay awake if-" Naruto offered to stay awake, but you felt bad, "No no it's fine go get some rest" You smiled at him, he walked back to the room next to yours, closing the door of your bedroom.

(Current time, 7:00 AM)
You felt someone jump on your bed,
"HEY HEY WAKE UP YOU GOTTA TALK TO SAKURA FOR ME!" Naruto said attempted to waking you up,
"Geez Naruto its seven a.m" you said turning to the side placing the blanket over your head, Iruka  came and looked from outside your bedroom door, "I knew I shouldn't have trusted Naruto to wake you up" he chuckled holding his coffee in one hand leaning on your door frame.

"Y/n wake up!!!" He said yelling,
"Ok sure i'll talk to Sakura, what does MY SLEEP have to do with this"
"I don't know? Maybe so you won't be late for school?!" He said trying to wake you up,
"Okay, okay, Im up" You said rising yourself from your bed rubbing your eyes,

"Okay, you're gonna talk to Sakura today, right?! Y/n RIGHT?!" He said tugging your sleeve excited, "Yeah yeah, it's literally seven-thirty, how are you this energetic," You said rubbing your eyes,

You and Naruto arrived at school, Sakura was already there perfecting her hair for Sasuke, Naruto mouthed to you, 'Go talk to her', You mouthed back, 'What?Now?'
'Yeah, go' he replied mouthing, Sasuke had just came, making an appearance with his hands in his pocket,

You rolled your eyes and walked towards her, "Sakura, right?" You asked sitting next to her, "Yeah," She said satisfyingly, looking at Sasuke.
"I'm not meaning this offensively, but what do you see in Sasuke?" You asked her,

"What isn't there to see in him?He's so cute, and good-looking, handsome, cute, did I mention cute?" She said gushing over her crush, "So what is exactly, YOUR type?" You questioned

"Cute boys, basically anyone except Naruto"
she said the last part rolling her eyes, suddenly anger rose from within you,
"What's wrong with Naruto?" You asked trying your hardest not to punch her in the face, "he's just annoying, and he doesn't have parents to teach him what's different from right and wrong, and he'll never be as handsome as Sasuke" she said annoyed

"So basically you only like him just because of his stupid looks?!" You told her, releasing your anger uncontrollably, "yeah, what's wrong with that?" She said confused, "I've gotta go," you said annoyed with her, "O-oh okay, see ya" she replied.

Who does this girl think she is?! Choosing a guy who doesn't even care about her over Naruto You thought to yourself.

You went to Naruto,
"Sooooo, how'd it goooo" he asked excited,

"She's not worth it"you replied,
"Huh?Whaddya mean? I know she's the one"
"No, she only cares about appearance Naruto"

"So your saying I'm not good enough looking for her?" He asked confused

"No" you facepalmed yourself, "I'm saying you can do better"

"So I can't do that right either huh" he said disappointed, "Huh?No Naruto it's her, it's her fault for not accepting you for who you are"

"No one does! They all think I'm just some dumb kid or something! Only Iruka a-and Pervy sage accept me for who I really am!" He said getting his feelings off his chest,

"I've accepted you"you said in a soft voice,
Naruto's eyes lit up, looking right at you,

"What's you say...?" he replied to you with a delicate voice

"I've accepted you." You responded smiling
"T-thank you..Thank you" he said stuttering.

"Y/n, can I talk to you?" Iruka said,
"Sure, is everything okay Dad?"

"How would you feel about Naruto moving in?"
