Finding yourself

Hii, Thank you for reading my story! Right now the time setting is in the ORIGINAL Naruto shonen jump, then slowly as the story goes, I'll change the time setting to Shippuden <3

You hugged your knees, crying, sobbing softly,rubbed your eyes and inhaled and exhaled through your stuffy nose. Suddenly you heard Naruto open the door, "y/n, are you okay?" he asked, sitting next to you.

You rubbed your eyes trying to hide emotion, "Im fine, Naruto." You said fake-smiling, "You don't have to act like you're okay, I know what that's like." He said comforting you, You couldn't hold it in and let out a tear.

The tear rolled down your cheek, Naruto coursed his thumb over your cheek to wipe your tears.

"If it's not a bad time, who is your Dad, y/n?", completely changing facial expressions you looked at him,

"Sasuke..Sasuke knows! Wait, I NEVER GOT MY ANSWER FROM HIM!" You said to Naruto,

You quickly grabbed your jacket from your closet, quickly tugged it on you, "Huh?Where are you going I don't get it" Naruto said questioning you, "I'm about to go answer your question,Naruto" You said smiling, removing the hair that on your back in the jacket placing it out on your shoulders.

Wait, how do I find him? I dont have his number,I don't know where his house is, Uhh maybe i'll see him at the spot he took me, that is if I can find it.It was about 10:00 at night, technically it's past curfew, but you knew you wouldn't sleep not knowing who your REAL father is.

You had just arrived at the place, somehow Sasuke was there, staring at the sky, his hair flowing with the wind. You tapped him on his shoulder to get his attention, suddenly he grabbed your hand and flipped you over, Your head smacked down on the ground. "Geez what was that for?" You said rubbing your forehead. "Oh, it's you," he said helping you up.

"Anyway, uh I don't really know how to ask this, but who IS my Father?" You asked tugging on his hand to stand back up from the floor.

"I'll start from the beginning," he said kneeling on the floor. You sat in front of him waiting for an answer.

"When you were an infant, I was sent to take you to Iruka sensei, your Father knew someone else should've taken care of you. So, I brought you to Iruka." He told you, "I don't get it, why'd my father leave me?Who even is my father? What-" You had so many questions to ask Sasuke, but he interrupted you, "He couldn't take care of you cause he was a busy guy. As for your Father, is Itachi Uchiha''

You were speechless, were his plans really that important that he had to leave his own daughter behind? You thought to yourself. "Wait..Your last name is Uchiha?So would that make you guys..Related" You asked clenching your finger up to your chin, "Your smarter than you look" He said turning his head towards you,

"Was that supposed to be a compliment?"You asked and let out a chuckle, "More or less" He spoke in that cold tone he talked to everyone in.

"But seriously, how are you guys related? Wait wouldn't that make me and you relate-" he interrupted you again, "Stop it with the questions" He said annoyed, "Yes he's a relative of my immediate family, which I believe makes us cousins," he answered.

You stood there in shock, all this information was so new to you. First seeing a man at your window, to now finding out about your family?

(Current time, Midnight)

After you rushed home, you busted open the door in confused feelings. You're happy you found out who you were, But upset that Iruka never told you anything about this until now. "Naruto! I have an answer to your question!" You said excitedly, you opened his door to see his lights off and him dead asleep, that is until you woke him up. "y/n its midnight, normally i'm the one to wake you up" He said rubbing his eyes, "Plus,what question?" He asked, slowly rising from his pillow. "The question you asked me earlier today", you said coming to sit on his bed, suddenly his exhaustion and tiredness completely left his body, "Is it someone we know?!" He asked excitingly, "No, eheh" you said awkwardly.

You described where you went and what Sasuke said to you in detail, "Itachi Uchiha-wait wouldn't that make you and Sasuke related" Naruto asked confused, "Yeah, me and him are cousins" You said letting out a chuckle.

(The next morning)

You opened the drawer of the dresser in your bedroom and ruffled your hand inside, grabbing the comb. You looked at the mirror brushing your hair, with a rubber band on your wrist.

A sudden voice opened your door, "good morning " Naruto said yawning rubbing his eyes,

"Good morning Naruto," You said, still staring at yourself in the mirror. "Hey uh y/n, I think you should talk to Iruka sensei" He said awkwardly, running his hands through his morning messy hair, "Your right..." You said with a nervous facial expression.

You went downstairs and stood outside his bedroom door with Naruto, you held the door knob nervously, Naruto Nudged you on the shoulder as a signal saying to go inside.You turned the door knob awkwardly walking to Iruka, seeing him adjust his headband, "Dad..?" You said shyly, putting your hands behind your back, "Yes?" he asked,

"I'm sorry" You said making an awkward facial expression once more.He tied his headband and faced himself towards you, "No y/n, I'm sorry. I should have put more faith in you, you're a responsible young one, and I should have told you sooner" he said, placing a hand on your shoulder.

Iruka's headband fell onto his eye, he didn't notice though, you couldn't help it but giggle.

"What's so funny?" He asked confused, "Your headband makes you look like Kakashi Sensei" You said let out a little giggle,

You tiptoed to get as close to his head as you could to fix his headband, "Y/n, you're a caring and beautiful girl okay?Don't let anyone think otherwise" He said smiling as you placed your hands back on your sides, You smiled as a sign of thanking him.

He cupped his hands around your cheeks and kissed your forehead, "Dad! I told you i'm too old for this!" You said whiney, you heard giggling from out the door, "Wow little y/n needs kisses from her Daddy" Naruto said holding his stomach laughing, "Says the one who couldnt talk to their own crush" You said crossing your arms, Iruka laughed as you and Naruto were speaking foolish and childish insults against each other.
