Father's student

Hii, Thank you for reading my story! Right now the time setting is in the ORIGINAL Naruto shonen jump, then slowly as the story goes, I'll change the time setting to Shippuden <3

It was just a regular day in the hidden leaf, You were heading home with your headphones glued to your ears with only one backpack strap on your shoulder, and Shikamaru walking next to you, 

you saw the same little kids chasing each other and laughing every day when you walked the path to your house.

"Call me after school?" Shikamaru asked you as you opened the door to your house you nodded your head.

You closed the door and said,

"Dad I'm home-" suddenly remembering he had to stay with one of his students after school since something with the "Hokage statues"

or something,

So you just took off your backpack flat out on the floor and raced up the stairs to get to your bedroom, you were watching youtube or whatever waiting for your Dad to come home so he could get you something to eat or whatever, Mmm Ramen You thought to yourself, I could really use that after a long day of school. You heard the door creak open downstairs and raced down to go ask your Dad for something to eat, You came downstairs to see your father grabbing his wallet, "Oh hello Y/n" Iruka called out to you,

"Can we get something to eat? I'm a little hungry " You asked in a tired and exhausted voice, Iruka patted you on the head

"Actually I want you to meet one of my students, that boy with the Jinjuriki I always talk about," He said placing his hand back in his pocket

"I'll pass," You said in a disappointing tone turning the other direction to go upstairs back into your bedroom,

"It doesn't hurt to make new friends," He replied

To be completely honest, You weren't really friends with anyone in your school, Your only real friends you had were Rock lee cause he lived close to you, and Shikamaru, even then, Rock lee would just babble all about this 'Pink haired blossom girl' that was in his class. People still talked to you a little bit,just that you were always known as "Iruka sensei's child", you didn't really like that title since you're much more than that.

"Plus were meeting at Ichiraku" Iruka replied with a warm smile

ICHIRAKU? You thought to yourself, "Sure I'll come!" You said excitedly grabbing your hoodie tugging your

hands through the sleeves,

Iruka laid his hand on your shoulder "Now I know what will get you out of your bedroom" He chuckled.

After you got to Ichiraku, You saw a boy, he had blonde spikey and messy hair, with ocean blue eyes reflecting the shining light, "Y/n this is Naruto, I'm sure you guys will get along- hopefully" Father said the last part a little nervously rubbing his hand on the back of his head,

"So- how do you know my sensei'' Naruto asked suspiciously,

"Y/N?Doesn't ring any bells?" You asked him,

It took him a minute. "Your Iruka sensei's KID?I thought it would be a boy!" you rolled your eyes, And I thought you wouldn't be an annoying idiot, You thought to yourself,

"What do you guys want?-" Iruka asked before he was interrupted, "Hot pot Ramen!" you both said at the same time,

"Can I get two of those?" Iruka asked the Ichiraku ramen guy

"Coming right up!" He said walking away to go make the food,

You were just sitting in the restaurant seats all quietly till your phone vibrate, you flipped over your phone that was faced flat on the table,

INCOMING CALL: FROM SHIKAMARU

You were about to pick up the phone till Father placed his hand on yours as a signal for you to ignore the call, you scoffed as you put the phone away, "So Naruto, hows ya know- Living by yourself?" Iruka asked as if he was about to suggest something,

"Well it gets a little lonely I guess- But I have LOADS of ramen packets and-" Naruto replied before you interrupted him

"Live alone?" You asked him out of curiosity, "Yeah" He said , "It's a bit challenging, but I think I can handle it! I-I think" He added with a warm smile, trying to act as if he was okay, but you felt like you understood him, even though you didn't live alone, you knew he wasn't okay.
