New Beginnings with Team 7

Hii, Thank you for reading my story! Right now the time setting is in the ORIGINAL Naruto shonen jump, then slowly as the story goes, I'll change the time setting to Shippuden <3(( Before you start the story, Auto correct might've put "I" Instead of "You" So just know im not talking about myself, Im talking about the reader) 

At last, you graduated after what felt like centuries, You finally got your Regulation headband, since you weren't in Fathers class, you had to wait till you got to know who was in your new class. "You think we'll get in the same class?" Shikamaru asked you ask you two walked home together

"uhh to be honest, I'm not so sure" you replied shrugging your shoulders

"I know we will guys! Were friends and we'll stick together!" Rock lee said wrapping his arms around you and shikamaru a little tight, "Together like me and Saku-" Shikamaru interrupted rock lee's sentence

"Like you and Sakura we get it" you giggled, but you never really met this "Sakura" girl, you just heard about her all the time,

which was annoying, she cant be that perfect. You plugged your headphones in your ears while Shikamaru and Rock lee were talking till Rock lee arrived at his house, "Bye guys! I hope you guys have a good day! You are the best friends anyone could ask for!" Rock lee said wishing us goodbye,

"Yea yea, get inside before guy sensei gets worried" Shikamaru rolled his eyes

"Indeed! I will get to Guy sensei as quickly as I can, maybe even the quickest person to see him!"

Rock lee said out of determination, rock lee slammed the door and yelled "GUY SENSEI!" you could hear it

from all the way outside his house, AND you had your headphones in. You and Shikamaru walked a few steps from rock lee's house, then he tugged off one of the ends to your earbuds, "I believe that's mine" You reached out for them, but Shikamaru put his hand high to where you wouldn't reach it

"Have you ever heard of talking?" he said rolling his eyes, he gave you the earbuds back to put in your bag, "Anyway, actually, what if we aren't in the same team or whatever?" he said rubbing his hand on the back of his head, "That'd be a drag" he added,

"So what?Not like its gonna ruin our friendship" you assured him,

"Yea I guess. Oh yea, you didn't answer my call yesterday?" He asked

"Yea sorry, My dad made me go to ichiraku ramen to meet one of his dumb students" you answered him

"Oh okay, so nothing bad happened?" he said yawning

"Mhm" You hummed, reassuring to him you were okay,

It was nice to have someone who didn't just see you as 'Iruka sensei's daughter', everywhere you went that was always your title, but with Shikamaru that wasn't the case,

Shikamaru pulled out his phone as you guys were having a conversation, he was texting some girl, you didn't really notice till he started Smiling "Whatcha looking at, Shiki?"

"Huh?Oh uh nothing, just texting a classmate" he said trying to act casual rubbing his hand at the back of his head. You and Shikamaru have been friends ever since you were in preschool, so you gave him the nickname "Shiki" when you two were younger.

you walked till the front of your house with Shikamaru, you were just about to open the door to your Father's household till Shikamaru called out, "Hey," he said

"Hm?" You hummed waiting for his question

"Try not to get kicked out of your new class" he said teasingly with a yawn,
