Chapter Ten
Cathy P.O.V
I stepped into my dorm, only to hear my roommate who's name is also Catherine vomiting violently. I haven't really talked to her much but I approached her carefully, "Catherine?"
She turns around, gulping, "W- what are you doing in here?"
"I was worried about you." I answered, "Are you okay?"
She shook her head before collapsing to the floor, head in her hands. I sat down next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. I wasn't quite sure what to do. I didn't really know her.
"I'm pregnant!" she suddenly burst out as if she had been holding in a breath for weeks.
My eyes grew wide, "Are you sure?"
She nodded, miserably, "I've checked like ten times already."
"Have you had a doctor's appointment?"
"I've scheduled one."
"Ar- are you keeping it?"
"Yeah."
I nodded and helped her up into her bed before grabbing some rags to clean up the vomit. She was asleep in an instant and I smiled sadly. She must've been so tired. I wonder who the father was.
After cleaning up, I go to sleep myself.

BRING! I woke up and gulped when I saw the time, 8:34. My morning class had already started. Jumping up, I grabbed my bag and ran down the hall, ignoring the few students scattered around who didn't have classes. Crashing into a tall man, I covered my mouth, mumbling an apology but taking off again.
He stared after me, shrugging. Finally, I reached the classroom and quickly sat down at the back. The lecturer glared at me but continued speaking.
After class, I headed to the campus cafe to grab a drink and I saw Catherine yelling with someone.
Slipping behind a wall, I listened in on their conversation. I shouldn't be doing this.
"Henry! You cheated on me like a dozen times and left me for that whore!" she screamed, "All I ask for is that you pay child service."
"How do I even know it's my child! You're clearly a slut if you're pregnant!"
"I would never cheat on you, Henry."
"Sure you wouldn't!" he stormed off, "Slut!"
I darted out from behind the corner and hugged her as she cried.
How could he do that to her?
