Chapter Four
"Catherine!" my Mum calls me, "Come here!"
I nod, sitting across from her on one of the lounge chairs. I recognize the look on her face and know it's going to be about Henry. It'll be the fourth time they've tried to set me up with him.
"Cathy, Henry is a very nice guy. I really think you should give him a chance. Nevermind about that Thomas Seymour. Your father and I are going out to dinner tonight and Henry's leaving tomorrow. So please, make a move." she says and my Dad enters, joining in.
"Star, if you and Henry don't get together, I'm going to be forced to review your theatre classes." he adds.
I look down. What if he cancels them? Theatre is one of my favorite classes!
"Okay." I agree.
"Good."

They leave and Henry gets home almost five minutes afterward as he was at football practice.
"Hey, Cathy." he raises his eyebrows and I look down, "So your parents are gone, huh?"
I scowl, "For the last time, Henry, I'M NOT INTERESTED!"
He frowns and goes upstairs, texting on his phone. What have I done?

Henry's already asleep by the time my parents get back while I'm up, watching reruns of The Tudors. It's really cool how both Jane and I were named after them. I'm actually related to Catherine Parr through her father but of course, that's not why my parents named me Catherine since they think history is boring. Jane is named after her though she's not related.
When I hear my parents coming, I quickly switched the TV off and grab my maths homework. They enter and immediately ask-, "Where is Henry?"
"In his room."
Mum sighs and goes upstairs while my Dad stays, "Cathy! What did I tell you?"
"What did I tell you?" I answer, "I don't like Henry!" SLAP!
"Fine." he answers, a malicious grin forming as he walks over to the phone and dials my drama teacher, Ms Mueller.
"Hello? Is this Catherine Parr's drama teacher?"
"Yes? What is it, Mr Parr?"
"I'd like to cancel my daughter's drama lessons."
"What? Why? Catherine has shown great potential in my classes."
"Too bad. Cancel them immediately!" he commands, raising his voice and my cheeks burn.
