Nash's P.O.V

Great.

Just fucking great!!

First we are dragged down into the Netherrealm, fight the Edenian women under Quan Chi's dark magic and now my sister and Azril are missing! Now we are all stuck in the Netherrealm without knowing a way out!

"Nash, please calm down," Mileena placed a hand on my shoulder. "We will find a way out. But we can't just stay at this same spot. Someone might know where we are."

I stopped, taking a deep breath. Mileena is right. I can't stand here and mope at the fact that Riana and Azril are missing.

"Where Torr?" asked Ferra, who was up ahead trying to call out her brute companion. Like a child, she began to stamp her feet in frustration everytime she shouted his name. Jade, Kitana and Sindel were eyeing me, I figured they want to know how am I going to get us out of here.

My brain's probably fried by now even if I am pacing back and forth.

"One thing's for sure," I told the Edenian women and the little fighter. "Mileena's right about moving on. As much as we are safe for now after our battle, these guys here don't look friendly."

I was referring to the beasts that lurked in this hellhole!

"Nash," Jade approached me. "Please take a deep breath. You look like you're about to have a seizure."

Easy for her to say. I take a few things personally and not finding a way out was one of the reasons. I bet if Bryan were to be here, he would've teased me for getting stuck with all of the Edenians and Ferra. Riana and Azril wouldn't comment on it and Kristina would've told me off.

My friends...

My friends are here because of me. If I hadn't switched on MK9 on my Xbox, all of this wouldn't have happened. My friends are in danger, we're probably on the missing posters back home and the worst of all is all of us losing our stuff back home!

How long has it been?

"Nash!" Kitana called out. "Come take a look at this! Something just appeared up ahead!"

I followed my former mentor to where she was pointing at a distance. About four figures were approaching us. Oh come on! I am about to be cooked and I don't want to fight after the battle with the Edenian ladies.

"Ferra sees ice man and Scorpion!" the little warrior cheered. I was relieved too since Scorpion knows the Netherrealm all-too-well while Sub Zero is the most logical character in the game. I can see a bit of a resemblance in how he and Azril carry themselves.

But the two other people behind them really caught me off-guard.

"Never fear, ladies!" Bryan's voice boomed with enthusiasm. My worst fears were coming true! "The hero is here led by the awesome me! So, which one of you ladies have you sample, Nash? I-"

Bryan was hit on the back of the head by Takeda, who looked disappointed just by being in the Netherrealms or my presence. I don't want to cause another rift since we need to escape this hellhole along with taking down Shao Kahn's troops with our own army.

"I have heard great deals about you," Scorpion acknowledge me. Even if he is human again, no doubt that I have earned a reputation among other combatants as the boy who hooks up with all of the female fighters.

"Master Hasashi," I bowed my head in greeting. "How did you, Bryan, Takeda and Sub Zero find us?"

He turned his head to gesture at a very eager Bryan. "This can make up for all of the shit you put me through, Nash. So now, I'm the hero saving you and your little harem from this hell you call home."
