Chapter 62
Nash's P.O.V.
Thankfully after that quick session with Mileena, a healer came back again with medicine to help heal my insides. I have a lot to say to a few people and I don't know if I have much time considering that I might not see them again.
The people I wanted to speak to on my list were Jade, Kitana and Sindel.
Now that Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung are dead, where will they go? Edenia is lost since Shao Kahn has conquered their realm, merged it with Outworld and lied to Kitana about her actual father. Plus, there's yet to be a ruler of Outworld to stop all of the chaos the people here blindly follow.
I just hope my sister and friends can be patient for a while.
"Well, I guess I can walk for a bit," I said to myself. I'm kinda bored here so I have no one to talk to but myself. It's something that I do sometimes.
Sitting up has never felt so painful! It was as if someone had put rocks in my belly while my legs felt like they were tied with bricks. In a way, I am limping slowly.
I'm only walking for a while and then I will return. I don't understand how people can last being cooped up without anything to entertain themselves. I just want to see where Kitana, Jade and Sindel were before I return.
While limping, I could overhear a few conversations amongst the guards.
"So this is it? Shao Kahn is dead and there's no more emperor?"
"Looks that way. But I'm more worried about who's going to takeover the throne. Could it be one of the Edenian ladies?"
"Better not be the kid who messed up everything. If he wants a woman, taverns are full of 'em!"
That's it. I have had enough of people saying this is my fault even if they are partially right about it. I just don't understand why people can't let some of the mistakes slide as I want to move on from there.
I have a few scars and a half-bitten left ear to prove it!
"Nash? Nash!" I turned around and was met with a rough clap on my back. It was shocking but I smiled. It was none other than Master Bo Rai Cho. He looked the same with the beard, beer-belly, you name it!
"Master Bo Rai Cho! It's great to see you again," I smiled, steadying myself from falling on my back. He was a kind master who took both me and Riana in when we were outcasts. It felt so good to be able to talk to someone without getting hurt or compensate something in return.
"It is. I figured your sister is with Reptile?"
"I think so. But she has to know that we are going home? She might as well bring Reptile back with us even if the both of us don't really see eye-to-eye."
But the drunken master said nothing. He simply patted my back again. "You will know in time, Nash. I came here to check up on you and your sister. Most of your friends are well from what I have been told."
"Thanks. So I've heard we might need a new emperor for Outworld. One that is not power-hungry."
But who would be the emperor? Kitana? Sindel reclaiming her throne again? Or was it that new guy that's Riana's boss, Kotal?
"Well, are you visiting the ladies?" Bo Rai Cho enquired, holding out his hand. "Want me to help you get there?"
I smiled and then nodded.
When the both of us entered one of the rooms, we both greeted by glares.
"Nash, what are you doing here?" Jade demanded.
