I stumble on the floor and a loud thud was heard as I hit the ground hard

" You have the guts to talk back to us I see? You know I thought you were fine being this bubbly girl and everything but you hang out with that monster?" 

my hand was stepped on as they walked away, don't cry I repeat in my head, you don't deserve to cry, I slap my cheek and take a deep breath

 I fix my hair and wipe the tears that were about to flow from my cheeks, I put on a smile and pat my dress, ' it was like nothing happened '

 I walk to my classroom and bow a little to the teachers that passed by, as I slide the door everyone's eyes were on me and I bow to my teacher

 " Good Morning Ms.Yuk " she smiles

 " Y/n? You've been late these days, you must tell me a reason after class so I don't mark you as late" I nod my head and walk to my seat, I sigh as I put my bag down

as the teacher turned around to start writing on the chalkboard, a push was felt from my head

 I sigh and ignore it if I told anyone, would they even help? 

It was 5 pm and I was walking back to school, as the sunset made the sky pink and orange, I breathe in the fresh air

 I live alone, in my senior year of high school I live alone, though my parents didn't want me, I'm thankful that they still provide for me

 as I walked to my apartment, my home I turn the doorknob and close the door

a small apartment, where there's one room and everything in this one room was everything you needed in a house

 there's another small room for the bathroom but that's it, after freshening up I walked to the small fridge in the corner of the room

 I got the Kimbap and just heated it in the microwave, I ate it on the floor while watching a Kdrama on my laptop

" Tch, you can only say that since you have a lot of money " I shake my head as I stuff the food in my mouth

Tonight I left the window closed, why would I want to let him in if he's the reason why my life is so miserable, as I tucked myself into bed I look at the time

 ' 10 pm' as I closed my eyes ready to drift into sleep my windows bust open making me sit up

" Why is the window closed? " he asks, I just looked at him quietly, he walks up to me and sat beside me

 I look at his clothes to see holes in them, " why aren't you answering me?"

 I looked at him as his eyes glowed red, he's a monster huh? 

I looked away and wanted to lay down again but he pulled me into his embrace

 " What happened in school?" the warmth I felt in his hug, his voice sounded so soothing he was like a cloud

 " You should stop meeting me " I finally utter a word, " And why is that?" I remove his arms around me and look at him

 I sometimes look up trying not to cry but he cupped my cheeks, " You can cry-" 

" I don't deserve to cry, " I tell him as my voice cracked a little, he smiles faintly and patted my head

 " You've been keeping it in for too long, hm? You can cry, it's just me..." After he said that

 I looked down and finally cried, I burst out crying so loudly and his arms were wrapped around me again

he was comforting me and that's what I needed, his wings covering the two of us as if it was hugging me as well

 " I don't understand why you're pictured as this monster..."

 I really didn't know why, as he was this sweet comforting guy, he was just like a human being, just with these black wings and glowing red eyes

 " Well I am, you just haven't seen me do..." he stops talking

he lifts my chin and plants a soft butterfly kiss on my lips which left me in shock

 " I need to go...Good Night my sunshine " 

The next day in school everyone was acting very weird, they were all avoiding me and giving me scary looks

 that's when someone sighed and ran up to me holding my wrist and pulling me to the bathroom, " Is it true?" I look at her confused

 " The monster came to Chin Hae's house and killed her..." my eyes widen

" Is this why you're close?" I raise an eyebrow " What do you mean?" 

" He said that you were his bride..." I screamed when she suddenly collapsed on the floor, " Y/n..." I turned to see him

" Seungcheol? What's happening-" he brought me to a tight hug

" I'll protect you from now on "
