"Shhhhh. R7, I need your help."

"Beep beep beep beep beep."

"I know. I know. Shhhh quiet."

"I don't know. I...I don't know why the clones are doing this. But we might be able to do something about it."

Sirens and beeps.

"Are you sure you wanna help? It could be dangerous."

"Okay, let's get started. R7, patch into the central computer. Bring up every secure file on clone trooper CT-5555."

"Okay Rex, what am I looking for?"

"An independent investigation confirms that the clone trooper CT-5555 experienced a malfunction with his inhibitor chip. Both the senate community and the Jedi council have accepted these findings. However, a recent report was filed, by CT-7567."

"R7, bring up that report." Caleb inquired.

"Beep beep beep beep beep."

"It's sealed?"

"Try Anakin's passcode: 8108." Caleb declared.

"I already know this report is going to fall indivious. But I owe it to Fives to record what I saw. I'm not sure I believe in myself but, there's a possibility that the inhibitor chips the Kaminoans put inside us, have a purpose, that we don't yet fully understand."

"So what's next Ahsoka? Should we find Rex and persuade him in some way?"

"No. I don't think that would work. We're going to have to kidnap him and possibly find a way to remove his inhibitor chip."

"Would that work?"

She sighed, "I hope so."

"Rex, I think I know what's happening. I saw your report on Fives. It isn't your fault. You were programmed. Your mind was altered to do this when you were very young. I can help you."

"Where is she?"

"I'm right here."

ZAP

"Careful, we're trying not to hurt him."

"Cheap, are the doors sealed so the way is clear?"

"Beep. Beep beep beep."

"Okay, let's get him to the medical bay."

"All right, so the captain is heavier than I thought."

"No time for jokes, Caleb." She conceded.

Caleb and the droids deliberately pulled Rex towards the bay, as Ahsoka shifted her gaze left and right, for virtue of inspecting that the way is clear.

"Come on Caleb, let's get him on the frame."

"Right."

"R7, run a scan. See if you can find the inhibitor chip the report talked about."

"Beep beep beep beep beep."

"But the chip has to be there."

"Beep beep beep."

"How close are they?"

"Beep beep beep beep beep."

"GG, if they override the door controls, you have to reseal it fast."

"R7, anything?"

Caleb strolled towards Rex and placed his hands on either side of his impenetrable skull.

"Caleb what are you doing?"

"I am one with the force and the force is with me. I am one with the force and the force is with me. I am one with the force and the force is with me."

Soon, Ahsoka even began to hear the captain along with the voice of Caleb, which seemed to be contracting as his increased.

"You found it?" He retracted.

"Yes, good job Caleb."

"R7, get him under and remove that thing."

"Beep beep."

"I don't know if it will work. But if it doesn't, we're dead anyway."

"Get ready on the door."

"Ready, Caleb?"

"Yes."

Somehow being the exact second when the door unlocked, unveiling the countless clones that had lined up in an attempt to terminate the Jedi.

Ahsoka blocked the first wave, as Caleb stood a metre away from her, deflecting the shots with dainty precision.

She then dismantled a sum total of 5 by pushing them back by force. Until another two approached them and stunned Ahsoka's wrist, sending the lightsaber out of her hand. Then another whom managed to disown Caleb of his weapon.

Caleb dipped, ducked and dived for the next couple of shots when:

"The door! GG the door!" As the sound of double pistols dominated the room, saving the heroes. Only to unveil that it was indeed Rex whom fired the shots. 

"Rex? Are you okay?"

"Yeah kid, I'm okay."
