"Master Ertay. Master Ertay?" Caleb blared, his tone embedded with numerous specks of fear.
"Padawan. Whatever you do, don't come out! Stay inside with Barriss. Run if you have to. I'll..."
Just then, her essence faded, the presence diminished by the crimson red lightsaber of Darth Maul.
"What should we do Padawan Offee?"
"We must do as she says, wait and hide. Run and fight only if we have to."
"But shouldn't we help them?"
"No Caleb, they're...already ones with the force."
Caleb sighed, "I'm going out there."
"Caleb, absolutely not! You will stay here and restrain yourself." Caleb nodded, clearly conflicted. He understood the experience and judicious ways of the older Padawan, doubtlessly due to the strict yet intuitive ways of her prudent Master.
Regardless, knowing the impulsive Padawan, he couldn't help but mobilize his inquisitive mind. Ergo, discreetly yet considerately constructing his way towards the criminals, albeit sturdily. For he knew that brabbling on about it would only result in the decrease of her rational restrains.
"Savage, ensure that the remnants of the Jedi are no more. I will return as soon as I find us a bigger ship." Caleb listened, slowly sneaking down from the soaked vents.
"Caleb. Caleb, where are you?" Barriss exclaimed through the coms.
Caleb instantly covered his wrist, dwindling the renegades of the systematic schemes.
Obliterating his instinctive voice, he audaciously sneaked behind the yellow zabrak, at the same time eying the red one, lining up for his attack.
The time was now. As the red figure disappeared through the smoke, Caleb lunged at Savage only to be clogged by the vexatious carcass of Master Ertay. Which further resulted in the troublesome arch tripping and smashing his head against the tall stature.
He growled, "That was a mistake."
"So now, you may say goodbye." He continued, only to be stopped by the durable defences of dependable Barriss.
He kicked her in the gut and swiped his saber up towards her cheeks. But the Padawan was fully prepared. Lunging above and over the zabrack, she narrowed her weapon down in an attempt to puncture his stomach. To her misfortune, the animal simply stepped away and ignited the other side of his lightsaber.
With both opponents circling one another, Caleb finally mustered the strength to poise, albeit shuddering.
Amounting full force, the snollygoster bashed his lightsaber from its owner, before stabbing at Barriss with substantial effort. The mirialan found it exceedingly difficult to discard of his attacks, predominantly due to his wild efficiency.
Later on, Barriss summoned both hers and Caleb's lightsaber towards her, dashing hurriedly at Caleb to ensure of his contemporary.
"Uhhhhh, why does this kid always get me in trouble?" She thought.
"Come on Caleb, wake up."
"I'm all right. But...WATCH OUT!"
Barriss blocked his previous attack, but was too late to stop the next from penetrating through his miniature arm.
Caleb cried out in pain, while Barriss bombarded the animal with countless attempts to his life.
With the red zabrak in plain sight, Barriss knew how little time she had. So ignoring all else, she charged at Savage and paced out every last ounce of his reserved strength. Kicking all of his joints and hinges to hasten the process. At one point, she even swiped one lightsaber vertical and the other horizontal, culminating a broken half of his lightsaber.
