All right people, so as explained in my first book which sadly isn't finished yet "The things a friend can change", Barriss Offee is my favourite character still up to this day. My goal here is that hopefully you'll all love her as I do at the end of the book.
If you already do, then congratulations to you. Here I am telling you that you are not alone. Boy what an amazing song, I might even include it in a last chapter or something.

"Excuse me? Excuse me sir may I..."
                              "Hello madam can..."
                              "Please sir please, I just..."
Caleb was on the verge of tears. He was 14, barely surviving order 66 and now just figuring out how to settle in. It all started a month ago, when his brothers suddenly turned against him, commencing all firepower onto him and his master. Caleb had barely survived, and he certainly wouldn't have if it wasn't for Master Billaba, whom had put down her own life for her Padawan's.
He had all these thoughts trapped in his head; how his Master was gone, how he'd even be able to survive without a mentor. These days he's all but a homeless corpse, begging for scraps with every last ounce of reserved strength left in him.
The poor boy had not been able to fill his belly, he'd been starving ever since he got to Lothal, with no one to help him, no one to even supply him with any source of food. His only friend now was the garbage disposal, he'd snuggle down the streets to the nearest garbage chute just to get the worse thing he'd ever have to put in his mouth.
To top it all off, he'd still be thinking about his dead Master among every passing second, regret and remorse clouding his thoughts. He never should have left her, he should have stayed to fight with her until the end. That was what any selfless Jedi would've done.
Finding a small alleyway to hide in, he crouched down in the corner and started sobbing simultaneously. His sad sour soul bombarded him, using up every last bit of strength he had left. He was starving, but the pain in his heart was eloquent compared to that of his stomach's.
Just then, a dark hooded figure slowly inched towards him. He sensed it immediately and drew out his only line of defense, readying for a fight he wasn't ready for. That was when two grim lightsabers ignited in front of his very eyes.
Forgetting his training, he struck at the figure with full force, attacking in such a rampaging way that Master Billaba would indubitably have scolded him for.
Within a rapid second, she bounced back and instantly matched her lightsabers with his, locking their blades. The figure was empty and emotionless, while Caleb was sobbing and expressive, doing his best just to stay in the moment.
Caleb was no match for her. A 14-year-old Padawan would undoubtedly lose against a fully trained assassin specialised to exterminate Jedi.
The fight lasted for no more than 2 minutes, with Caleb panting constantly, trying to catch a breath.
The assassin was winning. Swiftly presenting a kick onto Caleb's chest, she further pushed him instantaneously, forcing him towards the wall where he was getting trapped. With one rapid motion, she aimed down to where his foot was, throwing him off balance.
Knowing that he was falling behind, Caleb rose, albeit unsteadily. It was almost as if the lady was simply toying with him. Attacking her prey when he had strength and letting him be when he was losing, though being completely in control over the arena the entire time.
The two were locked in a fit of fury, with her slowly coaxing him to the dark side, unleashing his inner rampage bit by bit. Though at long last, she was finally done with her doll, so choking him with one hand, she used her other hand to ignite her crimson red blade.
