Rushing to his aid, she clogged his brains before entering his thoughts. Searching for joy, happiness, anything that could drag him away from the melancholy of his ignorant ways. Only to come into view with the innumerable demons of which Pong had bestowed upon him.

His eyes intolerable, the pernicious smirk gruesome. Picturing every memory that was lining his system. Every drop of life he had harnessed to torture the infamous creature. To the point where a single linear of tear had fallen from her eye.

Which brought her to a truthful conclusion: Pong Krell, was a monster.

Nonetheless, she had to steer him out of it. Justice must adhere, despite the plentiful perils he's passed since the Besalisk. For this, was not the Jedi away.

"Caleb. Caleb no!"

"Caleb, snap out of it! It's not the Jedi way. He must live! Don't listen to him, Caleb. Forget his teachings!"

The general had fainted though still consistently attaining torturing from the child. His infamous presence palpably pressuring away.

She had to think of something, when the linings of an inkling popped into her head.

"Hey kid!" She emphasised, causing him to slight drift his attention towards her.

"Kid!" She repeated, this time attaining even more awareness.

"Caleb the kid. Child. Dear boy, cutey, sweetheart." Now conjuring all of his annoyance. His gloomy Sith yellow eyes fading and pondered onto her. Undoubtedly recognised for her sufficive bickering.

"Youngling Dume, return." She commanded, his eyes retracting to its original sheer-blue.

"B...B...Barriss?" He muttered.

"That's right, Caleb. Come back, let go." She cooed, gradually draping him into a hug. When he finally forgot about all else, and languorously, released the looming darkness he possessed. Obliterating the enchanted senses of bewilderment.

"What...what happened?"

"It...you..."

"Barriss?"

"You turned to the dark side." She admitted bitterly, "But it's all right now we've...we've defeated  Krell and...we won. We did it, Caleb."

"The...The dark side?" He stammered, "N...no that...I thought I had...no I was in control. I...I know I was in control. I couldn't h...have."

"Don't worry Caleb, you're back now. That's all that matters." She whispered, clasping his shoulders.

"We're okay."
