~chapter 3~

Chapter 3: the kiss 

"Here Amie!" I say passing her a tray
I wanted to ask Amie about what happened with Henry but I don't want to step over the boundaries

Amie's perspective)

I wanted to talk to Richie about what happened but I also didn't want to relive that awful moment
"Here Amie!" Richie said walking in with two trays of food he hands me a tray but I felt so mortified about everything that just happened I did want to eat. I sat there playing with my food "not hungry?" Richie asked
"No, sorry I can't stomach anything at the moment" I say with a sensitive tone "oh to bad for me then." Richie says trying to get me to laugh I couldn't keep a straight face around him and so enough I started to giggle
Me and richie made eye contact but I was is tired I started to yawn "I'll make the bed" Richie said I stood up and sat on his bean bag was I catching feelings for Richie Tozier?
No I can't be catching feelings for my best friend, Richie went downstairs to get the sheets off his mother he came back in and made the bed once it was done I sat down on the side closest to his door.

(Richie's perspective)

"Hey Amie is it okay if I sleep shirtless I'll wear sweatpants for you I usually sleep in my underwear cause it gets so hot." I say it's the truth it get really hot at night "yeah richie of course!" She said sliding under the covers I took my shirt off only to notice that Amie was staring at me  "enjoy the view babe" I say followed my a wink she just laughed oh her laugh I love her laugh I flicked off the light and climbed into the bed we layed in silence until I rolled over "Amie?" I wispered "yes Richard?" She asked rolling over to face me I hated being called Richard but the way Amie said it I loved it "you know your still gorgeous in the dark." I stupidly say I knew I was catching feelings but I didn't know what else to say

(Amie's perspective)

I was laying in Richie's bed our skin inches apart from touching "Amie?" Richie said rolling over "yes Richard?"  I say rolling over to face Richie "you know your still gorgeous in the dark." Richie said making my heart melt just kiss him Amie whats the worse that could happen

(Richie's perspective)

She leaned in closer I could feel her warmth on my chest I looked down and her and she kissed me she really kissed me I kissed back I mean who wouldn't she pulled away "you know what Rich your beginning to grow on me." She said after her lips slowly pulled away she leaned into my chest and cuddled up into the blanket a pit my arm around her pulling her in closer wondering what that meant "you know what Rich your beginning to grow on me." What did all this mean I looked down at her sleeping peacefully on my chest she looked so cute when she was asleep I've just never thought of it that way I took my huge glasses of and drifted into a deep sleep

(The next day)
(Amie's perspective)

I had fallen asleep in Richie's arms I wasn't sure what happened last night the kiss what I said now I new for sure I had feeling's for Richie I didn't know what it meant for the future of mine and his friendship and what where the guys going to think if there two best friends where dating I guess I'll have to fight off the feelings how hard could that be

Very hard very hard it's now lunch time and I can't stop thinking about Richie being mine ahhh stop it Amelia! "Ready for lunch?" Richie asked pushing his over sized glasses up to his nose
"Yeah let's go" I say with a friendly look

(Richie's perspective)

"Ready for lunch?" I asked thinking about the kiss I shared with Amie I wanted to know what it meant to her
"Yeah let's go" she said with a cute look on her face
When we arrived at the Cafe we got seating in a booth and here comes my chram "can we get a vanilla milkshake shake with two straws?" I asked
She just smiled

( Amie's perspective)

We arrived at the Cafe we where placed in a booth "can we get a vanilla milkshake with two straws" Richie asked with a charming look I smiled and started blushing "so Richard can we talk about our little spit swap last night?" I say trying not to be awkward "oh uhm that was so long ago but yeah!" Richie said being awkward "so what did it mean to you" he asked
I didn't know what to say I didn't want to come on to strong I knew I liked Richie but I don't know if he liked me back "oh uhm Oh look or drink is here!" I say changing the subject

(Richie's perspective)

"So what did it mean to you" I asked Amie she sat there in silence before speaking up" oh uhm look our drink is here!" She said avoiding the question as much as she could did this mean the kiss was just a heat of the moment thing or was she just nervous I needed to know
I think I'm in love with this girl
