It was morning, me and Daphne wandered around the corridors as neither of us were into eating that morning.
The day was beautiful the clipped bushes, the tall trees standing proudly enriched by blossoms, it was truly utterly magical.
"So... has anyone asked you to the Yule ball yet?" Daphne questioned.
"No!" I let out a small chuckle. "You?"
"Yes, Oliver asked me" she smiled proudly.
"Oh the Dumnstrag boy I see..." I furrowed my eyebrows, she truly looked happy.
Me and malfoy haven't had a civil conversation for a long time, I was angry at him but I also wanted him to ask me but I knew he wouldn't.
Merlin! His ego was way to big to back down and I wouldn't be the first one to make a move.
After what occurred last night I was sure he wouldn't crack. It was my fault though I should have forgive him but what he said was terrible and he should start think before he opens this mouth of his.
"What happened you look wistful?" Daphne asked me.
"I'm good!" I nodded
"I think I know what's happening here" she smiled.
"What?" I arched my eyebrow daring her reveal her theory.
"Four words blonde, handsome, arrogant prick" her head was confidently praised upwards as her eyes were seeking at the early morning sky observing the clouds.
I let out a sight, she knew me too well, there was literally no point on trying to hide it so I assured her truthfulness with a nod.
"I knew it!" She cheered but her amusement quickly faded when she saw the look on my face.
I was sad, I fancied malfoy and it pained me not to know I'm the feelings were mutual.
"Hey don't worry, I mean Cedric, Fred, George, Cedric you're spoiled for choice" she encouraged me.
"I don't care about not having a date I care about not having him as my date" I bit my bottom lip as I admitted what has been bothering me the past couple of days.
I have a liking for Malfoy and I cannot change that, I tried I really did but the feeling are ju St there.

The air was filled with a dull sent, the sound of the glass hitting the wood was the only thing you could hear at Snapes class.
I was paired with Ron, thank Merlin although he didn't have any idea what he was doing he was definitely more preferable than Malfoy.
"Why does Malfoy stare at us?" Ron furrowed his eyebrows as he stared back at the blond.
I needed assurance that what Ron said was true so I quickly snapped my head towards the slytherins boy'a desk and fought a glimpse of him.
He hair were messily falling on his forehead, his hand curled into a ball tucked under his chin, his blue piercing staring intensely at me?
I quickly snapped into reality and turned back at Ron continuing working on the potion.
"Wait, he isn't staring at us isn't he?" He realized "he is staring at you?" He continued schooled.
"Why is malfoy staring at you Avelline?" Ron questioned slightly angry.
"What? He isn't staring at me" I assured him.
"Then why is he looking at our desk?" He crossed his arms in front of his chest.
