The months passed rapidly since my last encounter with malfoy. We succeeded on going through our tutoring without killing each other so that was a win. The talking part was obviously the hardest one. He'd talk only to correct me and boss me around. I'd usually snarl at him or curse him under my breath- and although he heard it most of the times, he ignored it.During this time I'd occasionally stay up until late at night to brush up on my potion notes and study. Sometimes I would go
to the library, what nice peaceful place to study! At the library would often hang out the trio Hemrione, Harry and Ron. They all looked secretive and suspicious. They'd glance at me and the whispers would burst between them.
I tried so many times to find out what was all the mysterious behavior about- but Merlin! They did actually hid it well. I'd try to eavesdrop their conversation but they always seemed to be alert for such wicked acts. So they'd ask me to come out and then assure me that everything was okey, although they didn't even try to hide the concern and stress on their faces.
Laughable really!

The great hall was filled with students that were enjoying their food. There were laughters and wicked jokes. Fred and gorge would pull a couple of pranks on first years and the whole hall would burst into laughter."you don't get it, aren't you? snape is insane!" Ron's fright was so visibly shown on his expression.
"All I'm saying is that Siriu-" Harry almost said but shut up immediately when he saw me getting close. "Oh hi Avelline" he spared me a half-hearted smile, mostly to hide the fact that he was a liar.
"Oh don't mind me. Continue!" I said grabbing a piece of toast. I was so frustrated with how easy it was for him to lie to my face. He was hiding something, something serious -if I judge by the importance of it staying hidden- and when I'd ask about it, I would just get a mere 'it's nothing' as a reply
"Have you heard about Sirius black? I read that he is coming to Hogwarts to hunt down someone, to finish something" neville's expression was one of complete utter terror. For a moment I though he'd stop breathing, he didn't, instead he just curled himself on his seat avoiding everyone's gaze -like everyone in here could be a cold- blooded killer. He was afraid of Sirius actually being at Hogwarts, he was afraid that he'd have heard him.
A couple of older students simply rolled their eyes to the visibly terrified boy, mocking him. They thought that Sirius black escape was something to joke about, and to be truthful, I did too.
"Don't be so ignorant, it's true! I also heard that he broke into Hogwarts" a second year defended Nevilles theory.
The same older students that'd ignore neville, were now laughing at the boy. They were followed by a couple of slytherins, which in-between them was Draco Malfoy.
He'd start a lot out of laughs. "That's pure nonsense" he continued laughing loudly.
"Shut up!" I scowled at him. I was still mad, very mad from our tutoring. Although we didn't talk a lot we'd still manage to fight and exchange obscene gestures and swore with each other.
His articulations loosened. His expression was now one made by pure disgust. I was sure that if he had the chance right there and then he would poke my out with his spoon. The hatred was that deep.
"Who would be afraid of a middle-age man, who has no interests except from hunting down a bunch of pathetic students" his piercing blue eyes gestured at neville.
Neville didn't dare speak, he just sat there coiling more and more every time someone mentioned Sirius black.
