Keonhee woke up from the buzzing alarm of his phone, it was 6 in the morning. He carefully stood up and went on his daily routine, making the bed and checking his daily messages or mails.

He moved to his kitchen, and pulled out juice with couple of toast, spreading jam with butter. He checked the time in his phone, 06.45.

He happily skipping down the stairs, turning on the white dangling lights. He wiped the marble counters, sqeeping up the dust of the floor.

He switches his attention to the dear flowers surrounding him, he replaced the yesterday water in each of the vases with fresh water. He organised the flowers and the tools at the crafting counter.

He opened the blinds of the shop and saw a white van stopping by, he already knew who it belongs to. He saw a woman in her 40s coming out of the truck, a man in the same age at the driver seat noticed him, giving a goodmorning wave which Keonhee gladly replied back.

Multiple knocks on the door was heard and Keonhee quickly opened the door, the woman with forehead crinkles smiled at the boy, hands full with various freshly picked flowers from her farm.

"Auntie Rin, thank you for this!" He retrieved the flowers from her.

"Just doing the job for my lovely boy," she pinched his cheeks.

Auntie Rin along with his husband was like his parents, Keonhee enjoyed the affection he received from both.

"Take care my boy!" She kissed his forehead.

"You too!" Keonhee smiled broadly and watched the van drove off, not missing the blow kiss from his aunt.

He continued on his day with storing half of the flowers in the refrigerator, at the store room behind the crafting counter. He checked his wall clock and it was already time to opened Moonlight Florist.

He grabbed his flower crown and the apron, switching the close sign to open.

Hours passed, multiple customers walk in and out, asking for his recommendations, bouquets and making floral designs for the clients.

"I have a date with my girlfriend soon, we just got together.. And she likes roses." A man asked, nervous as it was his first time buying flowers.

"Aw.. That's sweet, I'll pick out white roses for you," he nodded at Keonhee's suggestion.

Keonhee continued on arranging the bouquet, wrapping it with a golden ribbon. A small heart card pulled out from the drawer below.

"Anything you wanna say?" he gave the man the card with a pen.

The man wrote, covering his note which Keonhee turned his eyes away. Respecting his private letter for the girlfriend.

The man gave Keonhee the card and carefully tying it to one of the rose stem. He accidentally peeked the end of the letter, "I will hold your hands like how you grabbed mine, Love, Youngjo."

Keonhee smiled fondly at the man infront of him and handed him the bouquet.

"Your girlfriend is lucky to have you," he grinned.

"No.. I'm lucky to have her, especially after what she have done for me," Youngjo left the shop with excitement on his face.

"Ah love.." Keonhee awed. Started to think, will he ever find love? Would girls like a man working at a flowershop. Sure, some girls come to only have a chat with him, complimenting his face, asking his number (which he declined). Do they actually love what he was doing?

Keonhee sighed at his dissapointing thoughts.

It was already evening, saying goodbyes to the last few customers. An hour before closing and he knew no more clients will walk in, he looked through his sketchbook, multiple flower arrangement to craft. He scribbled more in his book and looked at the door, who was he waiting for? It's already been a week.

He sighed and went to the store room, grabbing a glass jar with a shear, setting on top of the counter. He went to grab pansies ranging from violet to bright yellow. He started to continue with his first project.

Snipping the stem of the flower, he felt uneasy as if.. A pair of eyes looking through him, he looked up from his project and turned towards the door.

Just to see a woman menacingly looking at him.

He screamed, accidentally dropping the shear in his hand, impaling the wooden floor. Right beside his foot.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry!" She barged into the shop, "I'm so sorry.. God, I messed up.."

"I-it's okay.." He wasn't okay infact, he crouched down, grabbing the pair of shear. He let out a relief sigh, thankfully his foot was okay. "May I help you?" he smiled at the woman infront of him, she was only wearing a mask.

"U-uh.. I don't know.." She sounded defeated, making him raised an eyebrow at her.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I thought you're going to hate me after that.." She supposedly whispered to herself, but he heard it.

"Why would I? It was only a mistake.." He chuckled, he didn't understand why this person would think so.

"If only I entered like a normal person.." She ducked her head, embarrassed to meet him in the eyes. His mind started to connect the dots.

He held his laugh, "It's alright! There's no need a good entrance."

"A-anyway, I was going to ask you for some carnations," she fakely coughed.

His mind clicked.

"Ah! It's you!" He pointed at her.

"Me?" she pointed herself, tilting her head.

"You're that girl that comes only 2 times at this hour, asking for carnations! With you barged into this shop and scared me!" He was excited, and he couldn't explain the feeling meeting the person again.

"O-oh... You remembered me and that was very detailed" She giggled.

He actually loved her odd entrances, making his evenings more fun than usual even though those were rarely. There was silence between them, until he realised that she was staring at him, his ears went red.

"Uh.. I should get your carnations now," he headed to the carnations display, he heard her chuckling.

He started to wrap up the carnations, she stood across him, watching his hands carefully organising the bouquet.

"You're so talented.." She broke the silence between them. That was the first time he heard such things. Usually he will hear a 'thank you' or 'you're cute'.

"You sure? I don't know.. I'm just doing my job," he replied with uncertainty. Shouldn't she find this a tad bit weird?

"You must love your job, it's nice to watch you. I really want to learn more deeply about flowers, I only got the basics down but my carnations wilt and I feel bad.." She stopped abruptly, "Hehe, I said too much didn't I?"

His movement stopped during her whole talk, feeling giddly, "No! No.. it's fine. Ah! Here's your bouquet."

"Thank you! I will take care these flowers better!" She exclaimed as she payed him."Also, your flower crown suits you!"

"Yes?" He was dumbfounded.

"Sorry! Goodbye!" She ran outside, right after she grasped what she had said.

Keonhee left bewildered. The flowershop was left only him and his racing heart. It took him a few minutes to process the whole situation, he cleaned up, closing the blinds and walked upstairs.

He sat beside the window, knees brought closer to his chest. He ruffled his hair and smiled fondly.

That was actually nice, talking to someone in this hour..

Though it was only a small conversation, he never really got the chance to talk with people in the evening, ever since he opened the shop. He still has his friends on the phone which he could text but there were moments, he yearns for a face-to-face conversation.
