"You all know the plan. Execute it well and we'll be out of here and back in London." Young lord cast a glance to me after instructing the others.
"Angela, let's go."
"Yes, young lord."

We--young lord and I-- had jumped up to the top floor of the manor and I had to balance myself on the steep windowsill. It turned evening immediately and as we were ordered the day before to leave young lord instructed that we do so. First, though, there was something we had to do.

The Green witch hopped out of her bed and walked over to the window. Her eyes grew wide as we looked down at her and her jaw dropped.

"Good evening master Sullivan."

"W-what are you doing up here? If you fall you'll die!" She exclaimed when she opened the window. I hopped in, setting young lord down.

"Why are you surprised?" He remarked. "You are a witch that flies through the air on a broom, are you not?" She gasped.

"C-Ciel, youre back to normal!"

"Yes, thanks to you. I wanted to thank you before we left."

"Oho~ I know. This is the 'thanking me with your body' type of thing. I'll be eating stuff off your naked body." She had grown a sly smirk on her face and I let out a dry laugh. "No you wont!"

"Please, lord Sullivan, there is something better that we have for you." I said. Her eyes lit up. I smiled, "The outside world."

Like many times before her eyes grew wide. She openee her mouth but her face grew hesitant and sad. "I...can't...I'm the Green Witch. The village laws..." Beside her words her voice had a deep longing to it. I looked at her and her watery eyes bore into mine. Young lord sighed and turned back to the window.

"I see. It can't be helped then...I'm sorry for saying strange things like that. Well then, thank you. And bye, my friend. Come along, Angela."

I spared another glance at the girl and she shook her head, grabbing my hand.

"Wait, don't go! I...I want to know more things!"

"Well then...Come along Green Witch." I grinned. Master continued, "We will escort you to an unknown world."

"Hey, where are we going? I thought we were going to the outside world."  Lady Sullivan asked, warily. I almost felt sad that we had disappointed her (and yet are still to disappoint her further). On the contrary, we're going deeper into the Green palace-the basement- for a good reason.

Lady Sullivan took the last step beside me and gasped at the hole in the wall. "Dont tell me you want-"

"Shh, if you raise your voice the werewolves will hear us." I said.

We ventured deeper into the basement and was met with a giant magic circle drawn on the ground.  "Your duty was to create this, right?" I asked.

Lady Sullivan grimaced, as if she didn't want to answer.

"What's the duty of the Green Witch? Is it connected to the fact that you can't go outside?"

"I think I told you that werewolves are clad in miasma, an evil magic that harms human beings. A long time ago, a great amount of magic was present in the atmosphere. That miasma was harmful to humans but it was like oxygen for beasts. However, people prospered and that magic was lost." She explained.

"Apparently that is the reason why us witches lost our power. The werewolves who lost their magic told us witches that if we created the source of miasma, they would protect the forest in exchange."
