Stepping into the camp, not even 5 seconds and Merle's voice spoke out loudly.

"Girl where ya been?"

"Just keeping watch for any geeks, I been here a few days now, I figure I would find a way to help"

"Ain't much help with that bum leg"  Merle glancing down at my leg.

Shifting my weight off my leg as he looked at me.  "I can help just fine" glaring at him.

True that I can't do much, but if I'm sticking around till my leg heals, then I have to earn my keep somehow.  I worthless just sitting around.

Walking up to Merle with a slight limp, reaching into my back pack I brought my hand back out holding him out a some peaches I had found.

"Here, found these when I was in the woods"

Merle took the peaches greedily "Damn girl, I aint had me some peaches in a while"

"It's the least I can do since I aint much help with this bum leg" Smirking as I quoted him.

Merle ate the peaches, slurping loudly as the juice ran down his mouth.

"Your disgusting"  Smirking over at him.

He simply ignored me as he started eating the next peach.  Good thing I have some left in my back pack, Merle would eat all of these in minutes.   Sitting my self on the hard ground, I looked around seeing that Merle and Daryl set up a line of cans and metal things around our small little camp, reminding me of when they first found me.

"Where the hell you been?"  Looking to the right Daryl stepping over the line of cans and metal looking straight at me.  He looks angry.

"What?"  I scowled up at him.  Why the hell is he always so grumpy?

"Trying to get yourself killed?"  He dropped his crossbow on the ground with little care.

Looking over to Merle raising an eyebrow to see if he knew why Daryl was acting like this.

"Girl don't ask me, he must gotta soft spot for ya. Haha"  Merle only laughed.  Bringing back my gaze to Daryl still glaring but under that scowl, I saw a hint of embarassment from what Merle said.

"Why the hell do you care?  Ain't like I'm gonna stay here or nothin'.  I'm letting my leg heal then I'm out"  Standing up, placing more weight on my left leg.

We were only a few feet away from each other now "I don't care.  But I don't walker bait stumblin' 'round the forrest"  His voice was growling at me, making me look down smirking.  I didn't want to smirk but I can't help it! He sounds like a damn bear!

"Wipe that smile off your face" He growled out.

"How the hell can I take you seriously when all your doing is growling at me"  Pausing "Haha, it's like talking to a damn bear.  C-can you just relax?"  Holding my hand up at him to stop.  Only laughing me more when his brows came together in confusion.  Merle started laughing obnoxiously.

"What the hell did ya just call me?"

"Baby brother, haha. Man I told ya that you always sounded like a damn dog when you yell"  Merle grabbed his stomach laughing even more.

Daryl's face only got redder as he took a step toward.  Instantly shutting me up.

"Girl, you done made the dog angry haha and I'm not gonna watch it take a snap at ya" Merle walked up lazily to Daryl.  Patting his back then stepping over the line of cans.

Feeling my stomach drop a bit, I took a step back from Daryl.  Almost wishing Merle would come back so I wouldn't be alone with him.  Looking down feeling guilty,  I didn't think it would piss him off that damn much.
