If you wanted a kiss, you should've just said so

You were humming quietly to yourself. You were organizing some scrapbooks for Liam. He wanted his time with the boys documented for himself personally. You loved crafts and things of that sort so you immediately agreed to help.

Being Liam Payne's brand new girlfriend was difficult. There were so many places to go and things to see. So you were happy just to take a break with Liam.

"Alright y/n I have the tea," he said walking carefully with two mugs of tea.

"Oh thank you very much," you smiled taking your designated mug. He took a sip of his tea and started cursing when it burned his tongue.

"Aw baby," you giggled and kissed his cheek. He made a small grumpy noise and you laughed again. You continued to work quietly after that, but you could feel Liam's eyes on you.

"What is it Li?" You asked turning towards him. His eyes glanced up from your lips to your eyes. You realized what was happening. He wanted to kiss you but he probably felt awkward doing it because you two hadn't been together long. You decided to tease him.

"Liam, are you looking at my lips?" I questioned as if it was a ridiculous thing to do. He went red.

"W-what?" He stuttered. "No uh, I'm not. I uh I think your lipgloss was reflecting the light so um it caught my eye."

"So you're saying," you started slowly. "That the lights were reflecting off my lipgloss, and the sparkle caught your eye?"

"Yes!" He seemed ecstatic that you had believed him.

"Liam."

"Yes?"

"I'm not wearing lipgloss," you told him and his face fell. You giggled. "If you wanted a kiss you should've just said so," you told him.

"Oh," he said sheepishly. You smiled and kissed his lips gently and left him with a goofy grin.
