That night
"Y'all all ready for bed?" My mom says standing against my door frame.
"Yeah, thanks mrs.cooper for letting me stay here"
"Your very welcome Jughead. Y'all 2 get some rest" she smiles and closes the door.

"Jug earlier you said you wanted to talk and I get that but i don't know what to say" I breathe our extremely fast paced.
"I-I don't know either. Betts, do you like me?" 80
"Jug, it doesn't matter cause we can never be together"
"Why not?"
"Veronica"
"Who gives a fuck about Veronica. Betts, this is about us" he throws back angrily.
"I don't know what you want me to say"
"I want you to be real, stop lying to yourself"
"I-"
"Yeah whatever" he stands up and walks out of my room.
"Jug please" I follow after him. I walk quietly downstairs and he's not there. I go outside and the night air feels frosty. I look around and notice that his car is gone. I got back inside grabbing my coat and writing a note to my mom just incase. Once I'm outside, I start walking towards the old drive in, that's where Jughead usually is. I finally get there and I see his car parked in the middle of lot. I walk towards his car and climb in.
"Betts, how did you-"
"We've been best friends long enough for me to know where you would be"
"I'm sorry I got so upset. It's just I-"
"I know Jug"
"No you don't"
"Jug, can't we just be friends again?"
"Betty, I don't do this to girls I'm friends with" doing what?
I look over at him and it's uncontrollable. Our mouths meet like bullet trains. He hails me over onto his lap and kisses me roughly. My back is pressed against the steering wheel and my knee is lodged in the door handle but it doesn't matter. He pulls away and looks at me, devouring me with his eyes.
"Damn Betty Cooper" he pulls my hair down from a ponytail and tucks a piece behind my ear.
"I'm not one of the girls like you've been with before" I need him to know this.
"Your all i think about Betty. I can't close my eyes without seeing you. Your more than any of those girls" he says making me quiver. I bring his face back to mine and my hair falls around us like a curtain. He reaches under my shirt with his hands roaming around my back. I start kissing down his neck and he groans. I love him, god I love him so much. I pull his jacket off as he pulls mine off. We throw them in back and then he pulls off my shirt.
"Betts, god your beautiful"
"Jug I'm not-" he cuts me off by kissing me again. The fire is burning between us. He kisses my neck and my shoulder blades. I throw my head back. And Then we here sirens.
"Shit" he says.
"Jug" I say panicked.
"It's okay" he picks me up and helps me over to my seat. He reaches back and grabs his jacket wrapping me in it. The officer walks up to the window
"Jughead, Boy. Is that you?"
"Dad?" He yells
"Hi Betty"
"Hi Mr.Jones" I say embarrassed
"Y'all aren't supposed to be out here"
"Sorry dad"
"Well you kids better get back somewhere else"
He smirks and walks away. Jughead starts the car up and drives home.

At home
We pull up and the house is dark. I stare out at the house, we haven't spoken since mr.Jones caught us. I guess I didn't know what to say, and neither did Jughead.
"Betts, how- what are we?"
"Jug" I say warning
"Betty, no. I get you don't wanna talk about it but we need too."
"I can't i just can't"
"Why not? What's holding you back"
" I can't do that to Veronica or to us"
"Veronica doesn't matter. Don't we deserve to give us a chance?"
"I can't"
"Why?" He yells
"BECAUSE I CAN'T LOSE YOU TOO" I say sobbing
"Betts" he says and hugs me tightly
"If-if I lose you, after losing him. I can't"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" he whispers to me, holding me in his arms
"I can't"
"You won't lose me, I promise"
We sit there for a while, me in his arms. Finally, I sit up and wipe my face. I zip his jacket up around me and get out of the car. Jughead grabs my hand as we walk up to the house.

The next day at school
I walk through the hallways with my head down. I see Veronica out of the corner of my eye. I stop in my tracks and take a deep breath. I've decided to tell V
"Hey V"
"Hey B, where were you yesterday?"
"About that-"  her phone goes off. Then everyone's does. She looks up with tears in her eyes
"You bitch" she whispers at me and storms off. My phone goes off and I look. No no no no. It's a picture of me and Jughead yesterday. I look up and Toni comes past me
"And you told me to leave him alone. Wow" she hits her shoulder against mine. I start crying and slump against the lockers. I see Jughead and he comes over to me.
"Betty, I'm so sorry"
"She's never gonna forgive me"I sob to him
"Betts"
"Don't. She won't and this is exactly why I didn't want this to happen"
"You were there too Betty. I didn't force you into anything. Your just scared. You just want an excuse to run, to be afraid"
"Really?"
"Yes, your too afraid to give us a try, a chance. You should know that all I want is you. You've always been all I wanted. You always will be" he says and walks away. I try to breathe but I can't. I run to my car and close myself in sobbing. I pull out of parking lot and then I get hit.....

Crash, doom. Glass, flashing lights. Screams and tears
