The next week went by in a blur. I saw Veronica with some other girls and Jughead with his guys. I saw Cheryl and Toni holding hands so that's good. As for me, nothing much has changed. I feel bad about everything but there's something I really need to do.
"Jug" I whisper, knocking on his window.
"Betty?" He ask groggily
"Yeah, let me in" he stands up from his bed and looks out his window.
"Betts omg" he opens the window and pulls me in.
"Thanks" I say
"What are you doing here? And what time is it?" He ask running his eyes.
"I need your help Jug"
"I'd do anything for you"
"I need you to come with me"
"Where?"
"Just come on" I say grabbing his hand.
"Hold on, can we talk or something? I don't know what's happening?"
"Please Jug, come on" he looks reluctantly
"Can I have 5 minutes to get dressed?"
"Yeah" he starts to change his shirt and I look away. Once he's finished I pull him out the window and we run to my car.
"Betty now can you tell me what's going on?"
"I wanna see my dad"
"Betts"
"I've waited too long, Jug. I know what your thinking, you're gonna say I'm not ready but I am. I have to see him"
"Okay" he says pulling on his seat belt. I put the car into drive and we start our trip.
2 hours later
"Betty"
"Hmm"
"Are you sure your ready?"
"I wasn't at first but then I realized. I need to face the truth"
"Yeah" I pull up to the place and put the car into stop. I take a deep breath and shake out my nerves. We both walk inside
"Hi ma'am how can I help you?"
"I'm here to see Hal Cooper"
"Yes and what's your name?"
"Betty Cooper" I see her check the list and look up warry look on her face.
"Ma'am, I don't know how to say this. He's gone"
"Gone? You mean like he's moved?"
"He died 2 years ago in this facility"
