Nikki's POV, March 2020

River was coming over today bringing Katlin and Kyle with her. Vince was also coming over which was arranged last week so, it was gonna be a pretty good day- the singer was staying for the weekend, 3 days actually... it'll be nice to catch up with him... with the small amount there is to catch up on anyway.

He might drive Tom and I insane but still...

Vince ended out ringing later on in the day after he even told River and she called and begged us to allow him to stay... we both said no initially but Vince isn't one to give up, so he kept on and on, calling and texting until it got to about 11pm and I finally FaceTimed him and said he could stay.

You can just picture the smugness on his face, can't you?

To think, I've been in a band with him for almost a lifetime. Send help for my sanity.

I did ask Mick if he wanted to join in but he said he'll just let us hang this time but then added that he'll join in next time- which was fair enough.

Vince was meant to be arriving at 12:30, 20 minutes from now- River was meant to be here about 13:00. Tommy and I were making the most of our time alone as we wouldn't be getting any for the next couple of weeks. It wasn't anything sexual, I made sure that was taken care of yesterday, there was no way I was risking Vince or River walk in on Tommy going down on me or the other way around.

Vince probably wouldn't care, if anything he'd enjoy it, but if River got here and saw that... she'd be scarred for life.

There had been a few times when River and Zayden were younger where they did walk in on us while we were... busy... but luckily they never saw anything traumatic, Tom and I were pretty good at acting nonchalant in those situations- if any questions were asked we'd just shrug it off and say we were playing a game.

We tried to pick strategic times for our alone time, early in the morning or late at night- or during the day if it was school. I didn't want to traumatize either River or Zayden, even though they're both adults now it still feels really wrong to fuck Tommy until they're asleep.

We had nothing much to do this morning, our usual morning routine was about it really so watching TV was the height of entertainment. Literally, it had been for years, since shit with the Crüe has become less frequent we had nothing to do, yeah- I had 'Sixx AM' and Tommy had a solo career but it's not like it was before with touring every year.

We can't tour like we used too anyway cause of our age but like... life's kinda slow... not particularly a bad thing it's just sometimes I do crave for the routine of album, tour, album, tour from way back in the day, it can't happen though but at least there's next years tour.

Although he annoys the shit out of me I do love seeing Vince, he adds some fun, we've known each other long enough now to tolerate one another. I'm happy the Crüe dynamic hasn't changed, yeah okay we've all fallen out with each other at some point over the last 39 years but hey, we've all come back. We're brothers, we fight, disagree but never just abandon each other.

Mick and I though are the only ones who have been in the band since the beginning, obviously cause Vince was out of the band from '92 to '96 and Tommy from '99 to '02.
