    Asher^^
Kia led me up to the small cabin that I would be staying in. It was the last one on the side closest to the lake. The closer I got to it the louder the ruckus inside became. I briefly wondered what was happening but it wasn't important enough to me to break my long kept silence. Three sharp rapts on the wood sounded as Kai knocked, bringing me out of my own thoughts.
"Asher? Astra? Open the door please. It's Kai." A few muffled curses and a couple minutes later the door opened revealing a boy with dark brown hair and blue eyes. His clothes were ruffled, like he had just thrown them on, and his hair was in a 'just got out of bed' type of way. Over all, I had to admit that he was kinda cute. Definitely someone I would go for.
"Hey, Kai. Didnt expect you here so soon." A girl walked up behind him and placed her arms over his sholders. 'Well, guess they're out of the question. ' I think to myself.
"Hi, Kianna." She yawned slightly and nuzzled her face into his neck.
"Hi to you too." Kia replied. "I have your new cabin mate with me." She finished with a gesture to me. The boy and girl turned to look at me. "Layla, this is Asher and Astra, your cabin mates. Asher and Astra, this is Layla." I send the pair a nod in greeting. Layla smiled brightly and says.
"Ok, I'll show you your bunk." With that she grabbed my arm and dragged me into the cabin. The inside of the cabin was suprisingly nice. Two sets of bunk beds were on one side along with a wardrobe, a small cabinent, and a mini fridge. For some reason the beds were pushed together, making two big beds. Astra must have noticed my confused face because she said, "We pushed the beds together so that it would be easier to do 'things'." I wasn't quite sure how that would make anything easier but I let it go. Pointing to the upper bunk she added, "You can have the top, although I'm sure you'd be welcome on the bottom.
I nod in acknowledgement. For a minute I wondered if there was a double meaning to the statement but when she said nothing more I decided to think about it later. Kai and Asher were talking in hushed voices just outside the door making me roll my eyes. As if I would be interested in anything those two would have to say. "Sooo, what brings you here?" Astra asked in a not so subtle attempt to distract me from the other two. I turned back towards her with my usual emotionless face and made the motion of slicing my throat. Her face paled to a degree that I didn't even know was possible up until that moment. "Y-you k-kill-killed someone?" She wispered shouted. My lips twitched with a hint of a smile and I was very much tempted to let her believe that, so I did, for the moment at least. I let my lips turn up in a slightly sadistic grin for a moment before going back to normal. She squeeked before nearly sprinting over to Asher and hiding behind him, nervously peeking over his shoulder back at me. Both Asher and Kianna came back into the cabin hurriedly. The rage filled look on Asher's face excited me, the prospect of a good fight was too much to keep to myself as I adjusted myself into a fighting stance. It had been way too long since I was last in the ring and I was eager to get back. Kianna, on the other hand was somewhere in between furious and confused. I simply sent them a blank stare. Seeing no reason for his girlfriend's reaction Asher asked her,
"What exactly happened? Did she hurt you?" He started to inspect her body for injuries. I have to admit though, that did kind of hurt. I wouldn't target someone soo much smaller and weaker than myself, well, not usually at least. Astra shook her head, mumbling unintelligible words. He looked into her eyes. "Hey, I need you to calm down and tell me what's wrong." She pointed at me. 'Rude.' I thought to myself.
"S-she said that she k-killed someone." She sobbed out. Asher shot accusing eyes over at Kai but she was too busy gaping like a dead fish to notice.
"She actually spoke?!" Kai exclaimed. Astra shook her head.
"No, she used motions." She explained. Kai deflated slightly before her she placed her fingers to her temple. "She did not kill anyone. She was probably trying to say that she had tried to kill herself. When you misunderstood her she took advantage of it. I can't say it's the first time this has happened, supposedly she does this a lot." I mentally sighed. 'Great, so not only am I stuck in this prision, but my 'mother' had also managed to destroy any possible chances of actually having a decent life. Oh well, guess I'll just have to make it work.'
