🍙Chaper 10~It's Valentines Day🥟

[Y/n] stood sleepily in the bathroom, brushing her teeth. There was something off about today, but she couldn't put her finger on it. First, she woke up later than normal, she's been really clumsy lately, and she more sluggish than usual. [Y/n] looked at her reflection. "I look like hell." She muttered and went back to her room to get dressed.

[Y/n] looked at the calendar while brushing her hair. "Shit...it's almost valentine's day." [Y/n] muttered.

Hanajima, Uotani, [Y/n], and Tohru peeked inside Yuki's locker to see only one gift.

"There's only one." Hanajima said.

"Lame." [Y/n] said, but it subconsciously gave her some relief. Maybe, just maybe the girls gave up this year.

"I figured that the prince's locker would be filled to bursting." Uotani said, "Chocolate. I was expecting a whole avalanche of 'em to come spilling out."

"I believe I know what happened. What we have here is a clear case of the cuckoo phenomenon. Just as a cuckoo chick will take over a shrike's nest and dump out its eggs. Each girl has tossed away the previous girl's chocolate in order to draw attention to her own. Allow me to present exhibit A." Hanajima explained and pointed to the dumpster near the locker.

This annoyed [Y/n] for some reason. Anything involving Yuki's fangirling began to annoy her more than usual. The [h/c] haired girl scratched her head in annoyance. "This is so stupid." [Y/n] muttered, "I'm going ahead."

"Her waves...Something is troubling her." Hanajima said, "Could it be...unrequited love? It is that time of year." Yuki looked surprised. Tohru shook her hand. "No, [Y/n] tells me everything. She's not in love."

[Y/n] didn't know what her deal was. It seems like everything was irritating her at this crap school. She's always hated Valentine's Day; she saw no point in the holiday. She's never had anyone special to share it with anyway. [Y/n] sat at her desk in the classroom, overhearing girls yap about giving their chocolates to Yuki because 'he's the most deserving'.

"Girls are really terrifying this time of year." Uotani said.

"They're more annoying than anything else. They remind me of dogs looking at a piece of meat." [Y/n] said. 'The members of the zodiac must be terrified of this holiday.' [Y/n] thought.

"Kyon-Kyon. Here, I brought these for you."

[Y/n] whistled and lean on back observing the interaction. "Wow. Yuki's not the only one." Tohru said. "I never thought I'd see the day." [Y/n] said.

"'Kyon-Kyon'. Go, Carrots. That girl's in love." Uotani said, "So, are you two giving them chocolates, too?"

"Yes. And [Y/n] and I would like to give some to Shigure and the other Sohmas. We were planning to give you guys yours on Monday, if that's okay." Tohru said.

"I look forward to it." Hanajima said.

"Merci beaucoup." Uotani said, "What about you? You givin' chocolates to your precious senpai?"

[Y/n] glared. "Of course not. He hates chocolates and Valentine's Day. And don't call him my 'precious senpai'. It makes me sick." She said.

"Come on, why don't you two just make it official already?" Uotani continued to tease.

"Yes. You both would make the cutest couple." Hanajima said. [Y/n] stared down at her desk. She couldn't see herself with Koji anymore. In reality, she's been kind of avoiding him. [Y/n] couldn't decide if she like Koji anymore.
