🍙Chapter 16~Memory Lane🥟

[Y/n] sighed as she stretched in her room. Today was the first day back from the lake trip. [Y/n], however, couldn't help but be disappointed in Hatori's answer to her question. He only brushed it off by saying he didn't believe they've ever met before. In the back of [Y/n]'s mind, she felt like she knew the Sohma's from somewhere.

"[Y/n]..." Tohru called as she knocked on the room door, this snapped [Y/n] out of her deep thinking while she was reading, Tohru then opened the door, "There's someone on the phone for you." [Y/n] gave a questioning look then went downstairs.

"Hello." She said as she picked up the phone.

"I-Is this [Y/n] Honda?" It was the male voice from before. He sounded timid like he was scared that he called the wrong number.

"Yes? May I asked who is calling?" [Y/n] said.

"It's...hard to explain. Could you meet me?" He asked and provided an address to a café in town.

"Okay. I'll be there in about an hour." [Y/n] said, "Bye." She hung up. [Y/n] went back upstairs and got dressed in her street clothes. "I'm going out!" [Y/n] announced while putting on her new glasses.

Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure peeked out of the living room while Tohru peeked from the kitchen. "A date with Koji?" Shigure asked, earning a glare from Yuki.

"No, just a few of my club members." [Y/n] lied and began to walk out of the door as she waved, "I'll tell you all about it later."

"She didn't leave with any gear." Kyo pointed out. Tohru had a soft smile. "I'm sure she'll tell us everything when she gets back." She hoped.

"How cute. You even tell each other everything." Shigure cooed.

[Y/n] sat at a booth with a glass of water, waiting for this mystery man to show up. When she heard the bell of the entrance ring, she looked up to see a tall, tanned man with pink mullet-styled hair. He had sunglasses on and a lip-piercing that had a chain that connected to his earring. He also had an eyebrow piercing on his right brow.

[Y/n] was in awe of this man. He was really good-looking. When he looked in her direction, he kind of stiffened and walked closer to the young girl. "[Y-Y/n] Honda?" He asked, and [Y/n] nodded.

"Wow, you look so much like your mother." He muttered as he sat down. [Y/n]'s eyebrow twitched in annoyance. She was annoyed at his comment and the fact that a lot of women were staring. "Why did you want to meet me?" [Y/n] asked.

The man rubbed the back of his head, nervously. [Y/n]'s eyes widened a bit in realization. "Don't tell me. Are you my...dad?" She asked in a rather repulsed tone, and the man blushed a deep red.

"N-No, no. I never knew the guy." He rambled and fumbled with his fingers. [Y/n] sighed in relief.

'He may look cool...but he's really a dork.' [Y/n] thought as the male sighed. "I'm Riota Megumi." He said and bowed his head, "Former lyricist and composer for Naname." He took off his sunglasses, revealing his green eyes.

[Y/n] hummed. "Former?" She questioned and sipped her drink.

Riota rubbed the back of his head again. "Yeah. She quit being an idol after meeting you." He said, and [Y/n]'s eyes widened a bit. "Really? Why?" She asked, and the male shrugged.

"I have no idea. She suddenly quit and went back into her old ways."

"Old ways?"

Riota gave a sad look. "Naname...is really a good person at heart, but she has a history of depression and drug usage. Before having you, she always partied and did all sorts of hardcore stuff." He explained, "I was always around to make sure she didn't get hurt or do something reckless, but one night, I had to stay at the studio for her next comeback, and she went out. The next thing I knew, a few weeks later, she tells me she's having a baby; she was devastated. Recently, no one has been in contact with her, and I'm worried."
