"So... how is she?" [Y/n] asked from the kitchen, seeing Tohru come down the stairs. Tohru smiled at her sister. "She'll be okay. Shigure and Hatori are up there with her." She said, and [Y/n] nodded.
Earlier that afternoon, [Y/n] and Tohru found Rin in the middle of the living room in Shigure's house. She seemed to be having a panic attack then she passed out.
[Y/n] placed the hot bowl of porridge on the serving tray. Rin was difficult in [Y/n]'s opinion...there had to be more to her than her bad attitude.
Rin reminded [Y/n] a little of herself in a way. "I hope she'll be okay..." [Y/n] muttered, handing Tohru the tray.
"Me too." Tohru said with a worried look. [Y/n] began to clean up the kitchen while Tohru gave Rin her meal. Until [Y/n] heard a sudden commotion. "Isuzu! Please. Stop it!" [Y/n] rushed upstairs, "Don't do that. Lie back down."
"Rin, you know, if you'd just learn how to take care of yourself, it would simplify things. You want to be left alone, but you don't make that very easy to do." Shigure said.
[Y/n] sighed and went to get something to clean up the mess. [Y/n] wanted to help Rin, she really did. But she couldn't help her unless she wanted to be help.
She'll push.
Or maybe even run away.
And that would only make things worse.
[Y/n] knocked on the door with Tohru at her side. "Hey, we're back. Hope you're feeling a bit better." Tohru said as [Y/n] opened the door, "We'll be sleeping downstairs in the living room. If you need anything, just shout and one of us should be about to hear you."
Rin curled into a ball on the bed, not making eye contact with either of them. "Here's some water, in case you get thirsty." [Y/n] said and place the water bottle on the table.
"Stop it." Isuzu said then looked at Tohru, "You're trying to break the curse, aren't you?"
[Y/n]'s eyes widened a bit, and she looked at her sister. 'Tohru, too?' She thought. "That's why you went to Kazuma's. To ask him about it. Why are you bothering? Because you both pity us? You wanna help out the zodiac freaks? Just keep out of it, all right?! None of this is either of your business! Do what all kind people should. Stay safe in your kind little world!" She glared harshly at the two girls.
"Is that it?" Tohru asked, "Have you been trying to figure out how to break the curse too, Isuzu?"
"I told you to stay out of it!"
"Did you find a way? Do you know how to break the curse? Do you?" Tohru persisted.
"Shut up! This has nothing to do with you!"
"Isuzu, please!"
Isuzu grabbed Tohru by the collar. "Can't you just mind your own business?!" [Y/n] glared. "No, I can't!" Tohru yelled back, making [Y/n] stop, "This is something I have to do!"
"It's something we have to do!" [Y/n] corrected, then glared at Rin again, "Now let her go!"
"I'm not kidding. Drop it."
"No!" [Y/n] yelled, "I'm not giving this up! We'll find a way!"
Rin pushed Tohru away. "No! Stop talking! It's impossible!" Rin yelled, "Don't you understand? There's just no way. No one knows how to do it. No one. I can't set him free." She began to tear up, "I don't... know what to do. I'm lost." Suddenly, Rin got up and ran out of the room.
"Isuzu!" Tohru called, running after her, and [Y/n] followed. 'This...This is why I stayed away from them. Because they're the type of people who can make me feel things I hate to feel. Like before.' Rin thought then she tripped and fell, 'I wanted to burst into tears. To run over to them, lay my head in Tohru's lap and surrender my heart to them. I wanted to whine about how weak I and how unfair is, like a child going to her mom or older sister for comfort. Hoping I could finally be forgiven. I might be accepted for who I am.'
