✰CHAPTER TWO✰

It had been several days since you accepted the job from Aaron Hotchner so at this point, whenever you got home you were just waiting for a call.

You had already slept for a couple hours when you got home so now you were quietly sitting on your couch, scrolling through Netflix.

Your phone began to ring and you didn't even look at the caller ID before picking up with a simple "Hello?"

"Ms. L/N... We've got a case that I'd like you to accompany us on. You're gonna need a go bag because I have no idea how long we're gonna be there. Pack several outfits and toiletries that you'll need. Also dress in professional attire to give off a good look. Meet me at the building where you visited me. I'll come find you. See you soon."

Before you could even get a second word out, he hung up.

You rushed upstairs and started packing professional outfits and a pair of black heels. You got together your toiletries and anything else you felt you might need like a book or two and you quickly changed into a more suitable outfit rather than pajamas.

You changed into a white long sleeve shirt with a black suit jacket over it and black slacks paired with some black heels. you took a sigh and brushed off your pants before picking up your bag and getting your keys from the bowl right next to the door.

You walked out of your apartment and went to your car. You quickly drove to the building. You walked in and pressed the button on the sixth floor.

It seemed to travel quicker because before you knew it, the doors had opened and you walked into the sixth floor.

You walked in and looked around the huge room.

Before you could find Aaron, he found you.

"Ms. L/N. It's good to see you again." He said with a small gleam in his eyes.

You smiled and said "And you... I'm happy to finally being joining on a case."

He gave the tiniest of smiles before asking you to follow him into a large conference room with six other people in it.

three women and three men.

You recognized one of them to be Emily, the woman you had met the other day.

You were gonna tell her you joined the team, but you couldn't find her and you were too nervous to ask around since you didn't know anybody yet.

She gave a sweet smile and you quickly returned it.

"Everyone, this is Dr. Y/N L/N and she'll be joining our team on several of our cases, so get used to seeing her."

You gave a smile and a small wave as you looked around the room.

These people didn't seem all too bad.

All had smiles on their face, no matter how small and they all seemed nice enough.

You decided to sit next to Emily since she was the only one you knew besides Aaron and you knew he wasn't gonna be sitting down before you.

You took a seat in between her and a very tall skinny man who looked... awkward.

Aaron went to the end of the table and asked the blonde women who had a case file right in front of her "Alright JJ, tell us about the case."

She opened the case file and placed a picture of a dead body that made your stomach churn on the table.

"That's Suzanna Morrow. She was beaten and raped before getting strangled to death. She was found in her own apartment in Bemidji, Minnesota. She was laid in fetal position on her bed. It apparently looked as if she was sleeping."
