You had gotten home late last night since the team had decided that rather than staying the night at some hotel, you should just go home.

You ended up sleeping in for a bit before getting a call.

You picked up the phone and in a groggy voice, you answered "Hello?"

"L/N? I'm sorry if I've woken you, but I'm afraid that I have to ask you to come into the office today and complete some paperwork on the case that we did yesterday."

Your eyes widened and you quickly replied "Oh, it's no trouble. I'll be in as soon as possible!"

"Very well. I'll see you soon."

You said goodbye and quickly rushed out of bed to get ready.

You put your hair in a ponytail and got changed into a white long sleeve blouse with black polka dots on it, black slacks and black heels.

You did light makeup and grabbed your purse and keys before rushing out of the house.

After arriving at the building, you went to the elevator and pressed the number six.

You quickly made it to the sixth floor and you walked out beginning to walk to Aaron's office.

Emily quickly left her conversation with JJ and Reid to stop you and say "Hey Y/N! I never got a chance to say goodbye last night. I thought you didn't have to come here after cases?"

You shook your head "No... I have to do paperwork on the cases we just did, but nothing else."

"Oh... Will you being getting a desk?" She asked looking around the room for a potential new spot for you.

You shook your head once more and glance over to Aaron's office "Nope. I'll be doing it in Hotchner's office. Nothing too exciting."

Emily slightly chuckled before saying "Who knows? He seems pretty infatuated by you. It's surprising since he wasn't like that with anyone when they first started."

"Well to be fair, It's not like I'm this strong tough FBI agent who's had lots of training... I'm just an on-sight doctor. I think it's nice that he's not being totally standoffish."

Emily then looked over at the two she was just talking with "You've met Reid right?"

The two of you started giggling and Emily was still stifling laughs as she said "Anyways, I'm not here to make any assumptions about whatever is going on with you and him because even if he was interested in you, he'd push his feelings down since it's 'unprofessional' but I'm just saying, have fun."

You didn't want to spend too much thought on what she had just told you, so you told her that you'd speak to her later and you walked up with Aaron's office.

You knocked softly and heard the 'come in' that was slightly muffled.

You opened the door and said "Hi agent Hotchner."

He looked up from the many stacks of paperwork on his desk and let a small smile slip before saying "Ms. L/N. Please have a seat."

You did so and took note of his small smile.

You noticed that he didn't smile often unlike people such as Emily or Morgan. They seemed to enjoy smiling and letting loose after a tough case but Aaron didn't seem the same.

It was odd that he seemed to hate smiling, but you weren't one to judge.

You worked around people who were either dying or in lots of pain, so you could understand how it would be difficult to smile, but smiling was the only thing that would keep you sane at times.
