✰CHAPTER FIFTEEN✰

You felt a hand grasping your own.

You imagined it being Hotch.

Him being the only thing you want to see right now.

You had been in the hospital for a while now, but whenever you tried to open your eyes, you either became sleepy or you couldn't do it.

It was time.

Your eyes slowly opened and looked around.

Emily was on the left side of you, her being the one that was holding your hands, tear stained cheeks and half passed out.

Penelope was sitting on your other side, anxiously staring at the door and then back at you.

When she saw your eyes were open, she yelled "Y/N!"

Emily shot up and said "Oh dear God, you're awake!"

They quickly showered you in hugs and kisses which caused you to giggled and hug them back.

You missed them in your awful state.

"Don't break her, ladies. They just fixed her up."

Emily and Penelope stepped away and releveled a smiling Derek.

You returned the smile and he walked up to your bed.

He kissed you cheek and said "Hey sweetheart. How ya feeling?"

You shrugged and replied in your deep, raw voice that you hadn't used in a long time "Better than you guys. When's the last time you slept? Any of you?"

"Since you got here... Which was a week ago just so you know." Rossi said, walking in to kiss you on the forehead.

You looked at them and even though it hurt to talk, you continued "Are you guys crazy? Go to the hotel! Get some sleep!"

Rossi chuckled and said "We couldn't sleep knowing that you weren't okay."

"Don't worry, We've all slept for minutes at a time. Everyone has slept about 20 minutes in small increments. Except for Hotch... I don't think he's slept once."

Reid was leaning again the doorframe and had a small smile.

You opened your arms and he came in to receive your hug.

"Wait... Hotch is here?"

Everyone slightly laughed.

Derek answered "Oh course, honey. I don't think he can function with you in this state."

"ONE MINUTE! I STEP AWAY FOR ONE MINUTE TO GET COFFEE AND SHE WAKES UP!" You here JJ yelling.

You giggled and said "Come her sweetie!"

She handed the coffee off to Emily and Garcia who started downing it and engulfed you into a huge hug.

She whispered "Don't go scaring me like that again."

"No promises." You whispered in your groggy voice.

She smiled and backed away.

"Y/N."

You looked straight ahead at the door to see Hotch looking at you, his eyes soft and filled with both sadness and happiness.

You smiled and said "Wanna hug?"

He smiled, big enough for everyone to see and he didn't try to hide it like normal.

He walked over and quickly wrapped his arms around you.
