The Avengers, Steve's Little Secret

Ch. 19 "Bucky"

                                                       Brooke POV 

It has been a few days since I was sick I'm now fully recovered, I was sitting in the main room of the tower, 

I had my Iron man Toy sitting next to me, I was sitting on the floor playing with some building blocks, Bucky was sitting across from me helping, 

Daddy is on a mission with the Avengers so it's just me and Bucky, I like it when it's just us, but lately I miss Daddy, I miss our old home, the swing in the back yard, the big yard, 

I miss my old room, and toys, don't get me wrong I love all the avengers I never thought in a million years I would meet them or let alone live with them, but I still miss home, I thought 

but I'm not going to tell them that, I don't wanna make daddy sad, I don't want to hurt the avenger's feelings, 

Like that time I painted Pietro's face and he screamed like a girl I don't think he appreciated his make over, 

I looked away from the blocks to see Bucky staring at me intently, he smiled at me, and played with one of my pigtails, 

"What is going on in the cute little head of yours," He said 

"Who me?" I said smiling at him, 

"Yes you," He said chuckling 

"Nothing..?" I said making it sound like a question 

"Squirt you know I know when your lying," He said 

I hesitated, 

"Umm, Bucky can I ask you something," I said playing with my fingers, 

"Of course you can ask me anything?" He said 

"Do you ever..." I began but wasn't sure how I should say this, 

He arched his brow, 

"Do you ever miss how things used to be?" I said 

"But you were to afraid you would hurt someone's feelings if you said anything?" I asked 

He smiled at me, He picked me up, and sat me in front of him, as he played with my hair, 

"You miss home huh," He said 

I just nodded, 

"And you don't want to upset anyone because of it," He said 

I nodded again, 

Then he picked me up as my arms wrapped around his neck, 

"It's alright to miss home, but you have to remember everyone here loves you very much," He said 

I nodded, and felt tears falling down my cheeks, 

"Friday Play Vienna," Bucky said 

You see lately when I get upset Bucky Plays Vienna and dances with me in his arms and somehow it calms me down, 

And that is what he is doing right now, 

I felt myself calm down as Bucky held me in his arms and danced and rubbed my back, after the song was over he kissed my cheek, 

"Come on squirt why don't we get you a snack before bed, but don't tell your daddy okay," Bucky said 

I nodded
