The Avengers, Steve's Little Secret

Ch. 14 "Leaving home"

                                                                 Brooke POV 

The men from my dream armed with guns, pointed at everyone, 

"Get out of my house," Daddy said not happy 

I I have one hand clenched on Bucky's pant leg, 

The men look at me, 

"It's the exp-"The man said 

"Don't you dare finish that sentence!" Daddy said 

"Change of plans boys, the kid is our priority," The man said 

"You do know we are still here right?" Tony said 

"Brooke you know where to go!" daddy yelled 

I nodded taking off running into daddy's room in the crawl space closing the door, 

I crawled all the way in the back and held onto my Iron man toy for dear life, 

                                                 Steve POV 

"Don't let any of them get past!" I said 

"On it!" Natasha yelled 

We were fighting with all our might, but more and more just kept piling in the house they were over powering us, 

"We need to get out of here now!" Clint said 

I nodded 

I ran to my room, opening the door to the crawl space, 

"Come on Brooke we need to leave now," I said smiling at her trying not to worry her, 

She nodded crawling out holding her Iron man Toy, 

I picked her up and ran out the back door, as fast as I could with Brooke looking over my shoulder, 

"Daddy!" She yelled 

I looked over my other shoulder to see a bunch of HYDRA men chasing us gaining on us, 

But then I see some on them fall down seeing arrows sticking out of their leg or chest, 

I see Clint waiting at the Jet firing arrow after arrow making sure we would make it, 

once we make it inside the hatch closes, 

"Hang on it might get a little rough," Nat said 

I sat in a seat next to Bucky and Held onto Brooke tightly making sure she wouldn't fall, 

"Daddy where are we going?" Brooke asked 

"Some where safe," Bucky answered for me, 

Knowing I was too stressed to even answer, I didn't want this for her, I didn't want her to grow up  in danger, 

I wanted her to have a normal life, but now that this is out she can't have none of that, 

Bucky put his hand on my shoulder, knowing I was lost in my mind, 

"Hey it's going to be alright," Bucky said 

"We'll figure this out," He said 

I nodded, 

"I hope so," I mumbled looking down at Brooke who was looking out the window with interest.
