The Avengers, Steve's Little Secret

Ch. 3 "Nightmare"

                                                                Steve POV

I walked in to see all the avengers here already, 

"This better be good," I said 

"Oh someone's grumpy, had to leave you secret lady," Tony said 

I just glared at him, 

I sat down, 

Fury cleared his throat, 

"Now if you all wouldn't mind," Fury said bringing a screen up, 

It showed a bunch of red dots gathering in one location, 

"We got intel that HYDRA is planning something big, they are all gathering in this one location," Fury said 

"What are they planning?" Natasha said 

"Word has it they have been testing a new serum," Fury said 

"A new Serum?" Bucky said crossing his arms not happy, 

"That's it a new Serum?" Clint said 

Fury shook his head, 

"They are testing it on children," Fury said 

My eyes widened automatically I think about Brooke, 

"Apparently they had the perfect child to use it with, but they lost it," Fury said 

Lost it? I thought 

As Fury was talking my phone went off, I see it is Jasmine, Everyone looked at me, 

"I need to take this," I said walking out, 

I answered it and it showed Jasmines worried face, 

"What's wrong?" I asked 

"I'm sorry Mr. Rogers she had a nightmare and she is freaking out and won't go to sleep or won't calm down," Jasmine said worried 

"It's alright put her on," I said 

It showed Brooke's crying face as she hugged her Iron man toy, 

"What's the matter my little Brooklyn?" I said 

"Daddy I had a scary dream," She said upset still crying, 

"It's alright sweetheart, what was it about?" I asked looking around making sure no one was nearby, 

"Bad men," She said 

"The same bad men you keep dreaming about?" I asked 

She nodded, 

"It's alright sweetheart, and what do I tell you every time you have that dream?" I said 

"That you love me, and that you are Captain America and nothing can hurt you," She said calming down, 

I smiled, 

"That's right," I said 

"Are you coming home soon Daddy?" She asked 

"Soon baby, but I have a mission I have to go on okay, No go back to sleep for Jazzy," I said 

"Okay daddy," She said 

"Love you sweetheart," I said 

"Love you to daddy," She said handing the phone back to Jasmine 

"Thank you so much Mr. Rogers," She said letting out a sigh, 

"No problem," I said 

With that I hung up and walked back into the room, 

"I want everyone to be extra cautious with this am I clear?" Fury said 

Everyone nodded with that we all piled into the jet,
