"43" (Kenma x reader)

The next day Kenma was coming to visit.

The hospital door opened. You saw Kenma, he had a small bouquet of different coloured flowers. "Hey" he shyly said walking over. "You b-bought me me flowers?" You said taking the bouquet. "Yeah" he said. You smelt them. "Thank you-u cmere" you said putting them down and opening your arms. He hugged you and gave you a kiss.

"I brought you something" "what is i-it?" "A new book, I may have bugged your mom about telling me which ones you've wanted" he said pulling a book from his bag. You smiled. "So that's why she was bothering me about it yes-yesterday!" Kenma laughed and passed it to you. "Guess so" he said.

He grabbed his switch out of his bag. He took off his shoes and crawled into the small bed next to you. "I got a new game from my grandma she said it was a 'new heart new game' type gift" Kenma said As you laid your head on his chest. "What's it called" "animal crossing" "let me see" you said taking the switch. "Ohh my old friend used to play this" you said and gave it back.

He played a little before switching to splatoon 2. You guys took turns playing. "My team fucking sucks" you say sighing. You were sitting up and kenma was laying down. He rubbed your back. His hands were long and skinny. They were always cold,well, until he got a new heart. Now they were always warm, he was always warm. You found yourself more often getting warmed up by him then you warning him up.

"Here let me help" he said.

"Never mind your teams shit, how are they this bad. Are they really- stupid ass" Kenma cussed lowly. You smiled and laughed a bit. He had sat up next to you. You played with his hair and laid your head on his shoulder.

All you could think about was that your dying. You couldn't stop thinking about how Kenma would react to your death, it hurt To say the least. You felt guilty.

"Kenma" "yeah?" "You dont.... have to stay here, with me...." you say looking down. "What?" "You don't have to feel obligated to stay here with me..." "are you an idiot?" He said a frustrated look on his face. "I'm not obligated to stay your right, I'm staying because I love you, I love you so fucking much and I'm not going to ever stop loving you. Cancer isn't going to change that"

He said lifting your head. His face softened and he looked like he was trying to not cry. "Now... wipe these tears and give me one of those perfect and beautiful smiles" he says cupping your cheeks and wiping your tears with his thumbs.

You swallow and nod. He kisses you. Then kisses you again, and again and again. He peppered kisses all over your face. The nurse came in. "Visiting hours are over in an hour" she said and you both nodded. Kenma laid next to you. Both of you facing eachother on your sides.

"I'll always be here" he said. "No matter what, I'll always be right here"
