(Autumn's POV)
*Still daydreaming*
"I didn't see it with my other presents this morning, did my mum lose it? I hope it wasn't expensive, I'll find it when I get home I promise." I panicked, I am the worst girlfriend ever.
..."You can't find something you don't have, I was waiting for the right moment to give it to you myself." Mike was so adorable.
"You meanie, you made me worried." I pout.
"Please tell me you're pouting? You know I can't resist it when you pout." Mike compliments me.
"I had no idea, not once in the 18 years we've known each other have you ever told me that my pout makes you weak." I teased.
"What did your brother get for you this year."
"He got me a Margaret Montgomery originals." I got so exited I forgot to tell Mike what any of that means to him.
"Am I supposed to know what that is?" Mike faked hurt though I imaged if I ever did cheat he really would be hurt.
"She's a Violin. Margaret Montgomery was my great grandmother. She was an artist, born in London in 1795, when her husband was away Margaret would buy unfinished violins and paint them before selling them. Mr Montgomery came home from a trip earlier than expected in 1821 and found Margaret hard at work in her studio, In a blind rage Mr Montgomery set the studio and house ablaze, most of the violins were destroyed in the fire but a few who were already hidden away in her fathers estate serviced, she died later that year and the prices and desire for her unique violins sored through the rough. Margaret Montgomery is my 5 times over great grandmother so it means a lot to me that North could get me one of her violins." I laughed.
"How can you tell it's a she?" Mike was genuinely curious.
"I don't know, all violins are just females, it's industry standards, I just follow them." I was so hooked on talking with Mike I almost forgot I was at my birthday party until some drunk dirt bag grabbed my ass.
"Here's where you disappeared to doll face." The dirt bag slurred.
"Mike please hurry." I whimper.
"I'm gonna ask you nicely once and only once, since you clearly can't read, to step away from the girl, she's taken." Mike's voice grumbled lowly from near by.
"Who the Hell are you?" The dirt bag narrowed his eyes at Mike.
"Look kid, I don't see how that's any of your business, but since I really wanna see the look on your face when you realised you messed up I'll answer, I'm the one that took her, and now I'm about to take her again so if you'll excuse us." Mike glared at the dirt bag.
Mike helped me get into my motorbike jacket that he bought for me when we started dating since I'd be riding Mingmongkol or Nong-Ming a lot more than I already was.
I don't know if he helped me because he was so caring or if he wanted to mark his territory. Either way I got on my tip toes and kissed Mike's cheek to thank him and also mark my territory.
"Let's get you home princess." Mike smiled at me still holding me close by the opening of my jacket before zipping me up.
"You always look so beautiful but blue is definitely your colour, I can't keep my eyes off you." Mike compliments.
"Well at least try to keep your eyes on the road. I don't think the "but my girlfriend is so beautiful" excuse will hold up in court especially when they see how ugly I really am." I took my helmet from Mike timidly.
Mike pulled my helmet away from my grasp and kissed me passionately. "You will always be beautiful to me, don't you ever forget that." Mike warns.
"And what if I do?" I teased.
"Then I'll have to remained you." Mike kissed me again.
"I don't want to go home yet." I bite my lip nervously.
"What? I thought you were uncomfortable here, did I do something?" Mike panicked.
"You did all the right things." I kissed mike reassuringly. "I want to go back to your place." I blushed.
Let's just say Mike wasted no more time and helped me put on my helmet, making sure the strap was tight enough.
After we got back to Mike's place he kept asking me if I was sure, but I hadn't been more sure of anything in my life, I loved this man.
After we finished Mike wrapped me in his arms and let me rest my head on his chest whilst we catch our breath.
I knew something was on his mind when he started tracing little hearts on my back, something I knew he only did when he was nervous.
"What's on your mind?" I started tracing hearts on his chest.
"I love you so much, you know that?" Mike hummed.
"I know, I love you too." I smiled and kissed his chest.
Mike started to reach for his bedside table so I lifted my head to let him reach a little better. When he finally got what he was looking for he took a deep breath.
"I know you're only young Autumn, and I'm not gonna ask you to marry me just yet, but promise me when we're older this finger will be free for me to put a more deserving ring." Mike opened the box and sitting there was a band ring covered in butterflies, on the inside were to inscriptions, the date we started dating and a strange radio wave.
