"So, Rizz," Rin asked. I raised an eyebrow at her, organizing my sheet music. "When are you going become Tamaki's queen?"
I blushed furiously, as I sorted through my "Hercules" soundtrack. "I-I-It's not like that!" I yelped. "We're just friends! Honest!"
Viviana flopped onto my bed. "Then why were you 2 making googly eyes at him during karaoke?" She smirked and raised her voice an octave higher. "Tamaki, oh Tamaki. Wherefore art thou, Tamaki? Deny thy father, and refuse thy name. Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love... And I'll no longer be a Busajima!"
I threw my pillow at her. "Sleep first...then dream..." I muttered, getting my old keyboard out of the closet. I got it for Christmas, when I was 6. I haven't used it in a couple years, but it still works.
Viviana rolled over onto her belly. "Come on! Please tell me you're not still beat up over Haruka!"
I whipped to face her, absolutely mortified. "Never mention him ever again!" I said, furious.
Haruka Harano... He was the only boy I ever trusted. I was devastated. He betrayed me and my trust.
...No Rizzo, try not to think about it... That's in the past...
"I don't love Tamaki... And Haruka was a mistake..." I said, setting up the keyboard stand to one of my favorite Hercules songs, "I wont say I'm in love."
"If there's a prize for rotten judgement..." I began, then sighed. "I guess I already won that... No man is worth the aggravation..." I shivered at the thought I the reason why I can't trust anyone anymore. "That's ancient history... Been there, done that!"
Viviana and Rin smirked at me. "Who you think he's kidding? He's the Earth and Heaven to you. You try to keep it hidden. Honey, we can see right through you. Girl, you can't conceal it. We know what your feeling and who you're thinking of!" They sang, teasingly.
I averted my wine-red eyes away. "No chance! No way! I wont say it, no no!" I said, thinking about Tamaki... And how close we were to kissing. I tried shaking those thoughts from my head.
Rin and Vivie wouldn't budge. "You swoon, you sigh, why deny it? Oh oh~!"
I rolled my eyes. "It's too cliche... I won't say I'm in love."
I thought of Haruka. How angry his eyes were... Ablaze... Furious. "I thought my heart had learned it's lesson..." I sang. "It feels so good when you start out." I squeezed my eyes shut. "My head is screaming, 'get a grip, girl! Unless your dying to cry your heart out!'"
Rin and Viviana continued. "You keep on denying who you are and how your feeling. Baby, we're not buying! Hun, we saw you hit the ceiling. Face it like a grown-up. When you gonna own up that you got, got, got it bad?!"
"Whoa! No chance, no way! I wont say it, no no!" I thought of Tamaki during the snow ball fight. He just looked so happy... I smiled... He's such a... Happy lad.
"Give up! Give in!" They sang. Viviana poked my cheeks. "Check the grin!" She said cheekily. "You're in love!"
My face burned. "This scene won't play! I wont say I'm in love."
Viviana and Rin were giggling, lying on my bed. "You're doing flips... Read our lips... You're in love!"
"You're way off base... I wont say it..."
"She won't say it, no."
"Get off my case! I wont say it!"
"Girl, don't be proud... It's okay you're in love."
I thought about his purple eyes and felt gooey inside. "At least out loud... I won't say I'm in love..."
Rin threw her arms around me in a bear hug. "Why don't you just say you're in love already?"
I looked away. "when you get older... You'll understand..." I murmured. Then I just got up... And walked away.
