I woke up the next day at 4:30. Once I'm awake, I can't fall asleep again, even if it's a Saturday. I turned on the lamp next to my bed, then walked across the room. I walked to my calendar, crossed of yesterday, then saw the date. My marker fell right out of my hand. April 20th. My birthday's today?! That means my cosplay party's today!!! I ran to my closet, and pulled out my cosplay outfit. The costume fit for a princess. Princess Zelda!
My sisters and I ask agreed to dress as something digital. I'm Princess Zelda, Vivie is Chun-Li from Street Fighter, and Rin is Megurine Luka; a vocaloid.
I guess who else to invite besides family... I suppose I'll invite the hosts, but it's still too early to call.
I hung the costume on the doorknob of my closet, then ran to the corner of my closet where I keep my most sacred secrets. I pulled out a simple notebook. My diary. I opened the book onto a fresh page and began writing.

20 April
I'm finally 16. The time has come. I'm my own person, an individual. I think I'll finally move on from the past and maybe start a real relationship with Tamaki. It's insane. I like him... I really do... but I'm still a bit afraid about the Haruka situation, but I'm gonna grow a pair and move on. I can't be afraid any longer.
Since its my birthday, we rented out a section of the karaoke bar for a cosplay party. I'm really excited. I'm write more later tonight. Goodbye!

I turned off the shower and stepped out into the steamy bathroom. I wrapped a towel around my body, then I wiped some fog from the mirror as I combed my blonde hair. I then reached into the cabinet next to the mirror and pulled out a pair of contacts. I carefully took out the non prescription, blue tinted, soft pieces of plastic and placed them on each eye. I blinked a couple times and when I opened my eyes, they were blue. Zelda's usually depicted with blue or green eyes. I'm a loyal cosplayer, so I'll go to every length possible.
I walked into my room in a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. But my Dad was there. I tensed instantly. "Happy birthday." He said, rolling his eyes. I was silent, went to my costume, smoothing out any wrinkles and grabbed my hair dryer. "I just want to remind you about something..." I sent him a glace over my shoulder. "You should remember there are a couple years left before you take over the company."
The hair dryer fell right out of my hands. I turned to him. "You need to leave..." I growled. "Get out of my room!" He just sat there, deer in headlights. "Let me remind you of something! I will never take over the company. You can't make me... now get the F*** OUT OF MY ROOM!" I yelled. He just stared at me. I pushed him out the door, closed and locked it.
"...What ever you say, killer." He responded. "I hope you get a boyfriend soon... then maybe someone would love you..."
Killer...

It was a warm day in April... Rin and Shima were playing with a ball in front of our Manor. I was studying. "Oh!" Rin giggled. "The ball got in the street!"
"I GOT IT!" Shima shouted. He ran into the street when a truck started racing down the street. I looked up and it all happened in slow motion. Shima turned his head to the left and his eyes widened as the truck hurried down the street. He was hit. Suddenly, a metallic smell filled the air. I felt like vomiting as I saw my only brother lying face down in the street, covered in blood. I... can't take it. I couldn't hear anything. It was deafeningly silent...
I ran over. "Wh-Wh-What happened?" I asked, hoping the quiver in my voice wasn't noticeable. I couldn't hear what she said. "You killed him!" A voice in the back of my mind laughed. "You sicko... you killed your own brother!" I knew then it didn't matter if I screamed until my vocal cords snapped and I could never speak again.... nothing could satisfy the empty spot in my heart...
