Sister Sophia Maria

Everyone except Emilio slept over. The boys took over the couch. Me and the girls all cuddled up in my queen sized bed. We stayed up pretty late, we all watched some random movie until we all started to drift off, me and the girls went to my bed. We were woken up by my mom blasting Selena and cooking. The boys were awake before us, because they heard  her coming downstairs and getting the pans. So, they decided to make sure we woke up, each one belly flopped on one of us and would keep on say our name and hit our face. Carlos jumped and layed on me. "Sophia, Sophia, Sophia. Wake up, hurry up come one. Pendaja. VAMANOS PERRA!"He said. Jules, Kiarra, and I tried to get up, but the boys were too heavy, we tried pushing them, but tha did not work. After a little while they got off of us and we got up. 

"Buenos dias ninos" (good morning kids) mi mami said

"Buenos dias mami" I said

"Buenos dias tia" mi primos said.

"Mamita, on Sunday, we are having brunch with family and some friends after church. You kids can invite some other friends too, Mandy is already invited as well as her family." My mom said the first line to me, then the rest to everyone.

"Gracias mami."

"De nada mamita,  el desayuno esta listo ninos!" (you're welcome mamita, breakfast is ready kids!"

We all sat down and started to eat, a few minutes after we sat down my dad walked in from the gym. 

"Morning papi"

"Buenos dias princesa. Buenos dias ninos" (good morning princess. Good morning kids." He said and my cousins mumbled a 'buneos dias tio'. My parents asked all of us some questions about school and we talked to them and said some storied until my dad mentioned something I knew he would, but was hoping he wouldn't.

"Princesa. Any boys? Dating, friends, close to dating? I'll break his kneecaps, but I want you to feel comfortable tellings us this stuff."

"Well dad, actually I was going to talk to you about this until the... others. Left, but there is a guy."

"Is it John? I never liked him, he hurt you, you should have never dated that young. There should be no boys, you need to be a nun. Sister Sophia Maria." My dad said

"Haha right, Sophia... a nun? That's the best joke of the year!" Carlos said, not realizing my dad heard him.

"Carlos, what do you mean, Sophia is an angel. Good grades, no drugs, no alcohol, Jesus, and her music talent." He said.

"Oh umm just that she can be... rude to people she is close with a way to joke around."

"Oh yes, yes. Anyways, princesa, tell me about this.... boy."

As he said that Kiarra whispered to me, "Tell them the truth, that it is fake, revenge on John. Just not about the kissing or the party or sneaking him in."

I nodded, "Well, mami, papi. We aren't really dating, but everyone at school thinks its true. You see, we set up a plan of revenge on John. We made him believe I still like him, and that I wanted us to hangout more to see where things go. We hung out and he confessed his feelings for me, but he wanted it to be a secret because he is still with that girl. The next day this boy, Emilio, and I were acting like a couple and John freaked out. I exposed him in front of the school, his face was priceless. The only thing, is for him to believe the whole thing Emilio and I have to fake date for a little."

"Wow mamita. Lots of drama, this is like one of the soapas abuela and I would watch when I was younger."

"Princesa, as long as you don't do anything bad it's fine. You know the rules with dating, I don't want you dating, but if I say you can't you'll just break that rule. I want to meet him, maybe dinner one night. Maybe tonight it could be just us maybe his parents and siblings, then if you want to invite him tomorrow.Just promise me, when you get a real boyfriend. I have to approve, no touching like crazy, no babies. You are only 14, but we want you to live your life."

"I know papi, and okay as long as both of you are cool with it, I'll ask him." I said and both of my parents nodded.

We continued on eating, my cousins said bye, and left. I went to get ready for the day. I showered, did my hair and makeup, changed, and put on my deodorant, lotion, and perfume. I then wrote some lyrics until I heard papito come home. 

"Papito! I missed you!" I said trying to hug him but he dodged me.

"You little snot, get back over here!" I yelled and he ran. I chased him and we wrestled. We fought a lot, but we got a long really good as well. 

"I missed you too mamita. Remember you tell mom, I tell mom." He said about the Instagram thing.

"A deals a deal, you have my word, papito."

He then ran off and I went back to my room. I texted Emilio.

'Hey, so I told my parents about us and the truth about it, they want to meet you. They wanted me to ask if you want to come over for dinner tonight. You do not have to. Also, your parents and siblings can come too' 

Mi amor😍🙊💋: Of course, I'd love to meet them! I'm free tonight, I'll come. What time? Formal or casual. I have to check if my family is free to go, I'm sure they'd love to go. Let me ask and I'll let you know later.

'Not too formal, but not too casual. So like just a button-up shirt and dress pants. They said to come over around 5:30, 6'ish. And okay about asking your parents if they want to come.'

Mi amor😍🙊💋: okay baby, i'll see you tonight😘

'Oh and also...'

Mi amor😍🙊💋: yeah what's up babygirl?

'On Sunday my parents invited some family and friends over for brunch after church, they said we can invite some friends. If you want you can come, but you don't have to. You probably don't want to hang around my family two days in a row.'

Mi amor😍🙊💋: It's fine, I'd love to go and meet your family and friends. This might not be a real relationship, but after this plan I'd like to stay friends?

'yeah ofc:) thanks papi chulo;)"

Emilio's POV:

I'm honestly really glad Sophia asked me to go to dinner tonight and brunch tomorrow. I want to meet her parents, I know I told her after her plan thingy I want to be friends, but a part of me hopes she has real feelings for me too. I'm trying to not go too overboard with the pet names and shit like that, but you know 'we have to convince the people'😉. I hope her family likes me, I'm mainly worried about her dad. If Matteo is tough on me, her father must be 20x worse. I am excited to meet her little brother, he seems fun to be around.
