I woke up later than I was should have. I went into the shower, blow dried my hair, curled my hair, then put on some mascara. I quickly changed into

I went downstairs to a wonderful morning meal of Mexican breakfast Chilaquiles, "Buenos dias princesa" my papi said (good morning princess)

"buenos dias papi como estas?" i said *Good morning daddy how are you*

"Bueno, y tu? *good and you*

"Bueno. Donde esta mami?" *Good,  where is mommy*

"Mami es en la oficina."  *Mommy is in the office*

"Bien." *Okay*

I walked into the office to see my mom on the computer.

"Buenos dias mami como estas?" *good morning mommy how are you?*

"Buenos dias mamita soy muy estresado." mami said *good morning mamita. I am very stressed*

"Por que?" *Why?*

"Tu quinceanera el vestibulo es generoso yo una dificil el tiempo." *Your quinceanera hall is giving me a hard time.*

"Lo siento mami." *Im sorry mommy*

"Es bien hermisa. Vas a tio Josephs casa a ver tu primos desoues del desayuno?" *its okay beautiful. Are you going to uncle Josephs house to see your cousins after breakfast?*

"No mami. Yo tener el coro practicar." *No mommy. I have choir practice.) I'm not in choir, but I like to write music in my free time and sing covers, so the choir director gives me a few private lessons every now and then

"Bien. Ir comer ahora entonces." *Okay. Go eat now then.*

Yes you are probably thinking, "why do you call your parents mommy and daddy when you are not a kid anymore." Well I was just translating, i call them mami and papi. I guess it is kind of normal for Hispanic children younger or older. And if you look up what mamita means, it does mean mommy, but it is just what my parents and a few other family members call me, it is a term of endearment kind of. haha sorry it is weird to explain it

I finished eating and biked to the school. I have choir practice on Saturday because it is a one on one practice. I asked my choir director if she can give me extra help because I'm starting to write songs.

I get to the school and lock up my bike. As I do that I hear a masculine voice.

"Hey Sophia."

I turned around and it was the one and only Emilio.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked

"I was just about to ask you the same. Well I'm here for soccer, we have practice before the game."

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that."

"Are you going to the game?" he asked

"Yeah after my 'voice lesson' stuff."
